@Lee Grant has posted a number of times,that SS clubs were invited to nominate players for the development squad. I assume the upcoming 19's squad that is also being discussed,is predominantly club nominated players.

The SJRU is irrelevant. I doubt there is a talented U18 kid that is not either at School or does not play colts. The SJRU imply they are catching players who slipped the net,but they are only catching those that have been overlooked. Isn't this 19's process more of a development squad? I...

I can't think of a player selected,where there are clearly 2 superior players in their primary position. Think of it more like a Skelton v Jones scenario. There are strong arguments for selecting either player,however Jones would be more suited on a tour like this,for fitness and versatility...

Long time critic of squad selections. However,I believe there has been a massive improvement in the training and selecting the squad this year. There will always be disagreements about certain positions,but I think they did a great job,and am confident they will review the process and improve it...

Watching on the tv it looked to me that whole sections up high were empty. I would have thought they were the cheap seats?
