So at the end of round one in the thirds comp, it's TAS in front on for and against. And the team I'm watching? Kings after their defeat of Scots. It was close, 17-12, so I guess that we will have to wait and see how they both go in the next round. i can't triangulate then properly yet.

Laughs. Quite right, IS. I sometimes wonder how I would have behaved under G&G scrutiny. You know, Belshaw's stupid failure to tackle X allowed a try! I'm naturally competitive, so my rugby would probably have improved. But still, it is just a game.

35-0 is a big score, but Grammar had injuries and may have been tired from the trip. Yes, I know TAS does the long bus trip far more, but it can be a factor. If we look at the Joeys v Grammar score and the earlier TAS v SBHS school result, TAS is clearly competitive this year. How competitive...

That's a really great video. It shows the excitement and standard of GPS thirds rugby between evenly matched teams. Oh if that last TAS pass had not gone astray!

Earlier I said that I would post the full TASvGrammar results when I got them as a comparison of the relative strengths of the two schools. Grammar beat TAS in the Firsts (26-10), the Thirds (15-7), the 16As (38-7), the 15Bs (36-21), the 14As (19-17), the 13Bs (14-12) and the 13Cs (59-21)...

I suspect that will be a loss. TAS 15As this year seem quite a good team. They beat SGS 15As 43-0.
