So at the end of round one in the thirds comp, it's TAS in front on for and against. And the team I'm watching? Kings after their defeat of Scots. It was close, 17-12, so I guess that we will have to wait and see how they both go in the next round. i can't triangulate then properly yet.

Laughs. Quite right, IS. I sometimes wonder how I would have behaved under G&G scrutiny. You know, Belshaw's stupid failure to tackle X allowed a try! I'm naturally competitive, so my rugby would probably have improved. But still, it is just a game.

35-0 is a big score, but Grammar had injuries and may have been tired from the trip. Yes, I know TAS does the long bus trip far more, but it can be a factor. If we look at the Joeys v Grammar score and the earlier TAS v SBHS school result, TAS is clearly competitive this year. How competitive...

    Correction, Kinross v TAS 12-10

I have absolutely no idea about the thirds comp this year. Grammar is clearly very competitive, although those injuries are a real issue. I just feel sad for the boys. TAS lost 13-10 to Kinross but won 33-0 against High, so they look competitive. Can't tip between TAS and and an injury weakened...

I do thank you. Getting myself ready for the comp, although I don't have a feel for this year yet. TAS open teams were playing St Alberts College (UNE) today but no idea on results. Even if I had them, that might not help! No idea of the strength of Albies. I have no idea how this year's comp...

Well done SJ. I agree with Beard, you deserved the win and I am pleased for you and the comp. Next year? Bring it on!

That's a really great video. It shows the excitement and standard of GPS thirds rugby between evenly matched teams. Oh if that last TAS pass had not gone astray!

Beautiful day at Scots. As you might expect with Scots playing elsewhere, crowd small – 2-1 TAS. Scots hospitality good. Again comments on the appetites of TAS and its supporters. Country Air, you know. TAS 2nds were playing Scots 5ths. It was such a nice day that I decided to leave the car at...

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2015

Earlier I said that I would post the full TASvGrammar results when I got them as a comparison of the relative strengths of the two schools. Grammar beat TAS in the Firsts (26-10), the Thirds (15-7), the 16As (38-7), the 15Bs (36-21), the 14As (19-17), the 13Bs (14-12) and the 13Cs (59-21)...

I suspect that will be a loss. TAS 15As this year seem quite a good team. They beat SGS 15As 43-0.

Hi Cash and thanks. Tried to tell the story in a way that would interest. Interesting about the Wallabies. I 'm going to some of the World Cup games. Really looking forward to it.

I know. Sigh. I only ever use my phone for messages and its been a very old fashioned one. I accept that I'm a troglodyte, positively antediluvian, but I actually use my time on public transport for reading and writing, so I haven't needed that extra functionality. That's when everybody else...

An update on the report provided by Cash. Sadly, I seem to have lost another camera, so I could not take photos. The TAS player was, I think, the number fifteen in the Seconds, Brett-Kelly Wirth according to the program. More on him in a moment. It was a very hot day at Weigall. Needless to...
