    NSW AAGPS 2017

Hi CJ. Not sure the TAS team would like being typed as Belshaw's Boys!. :) I am just a commenter. I think Grammar is bringing all grades and I'm not discounting their chances of causing an upset despite the travel. They have done it before. I agree that the TAS/SJ match could well be the...

    NSW AAGPS 2017

Thanks, QH, The evenness is quite remarkable, really. Over four games Saturday the total gap between winners and losers was just 19 points! With help from you all, I have just about enough for my next round review!

    NSW AAGPS 2017

Anybody have the results of High v Iggies in the Thirds? Its the last result we need.
  4. Jim Belshaw

    NSW AAGPS 2017

Good that he's okay. Grammar sounds a little lucky. Does anybody have High v Iggies results? That's all we need now.

    NSW AAGPS 2017

From the TAS rugby app: "TAS up 5-0 tough game" Anybody at the match who can provide more info? I didn't call this one in my pre-match report. Frankly, I was extremely nervous. All the thirds matches so far sound like tough games.

    NSW AAGPS 2017

Thanks, IS. Not a good result for G, but the result keeps them in the hunt. A lot of injuries at the moment. It sounds a bad one from the delay

    NSW AAGPS 2017

That's quite possible at this stage. We will have a better feel tonight.
  8. Jim Belshaw

    NSW AAGPS 2017

Now we need the TAS results
  9. Jim Belshaw

    NSW AAGPS 2017

damn. That would have thrown the whole comp wide open!

    NSW AAGPS 2017

Thank you. That's a very interesting result.

    2017 AAGPS/CAS Combined "Comp"

I don’t have a clear answer to the questions raised on this thread. I do have strong perceptions. Biases if you like. I came back into GPS rugby because TAS was playing in Sydney. I remember how at the first matches I was astonished by the size and speed of the boys. Herein lies a problem. Top...

    NSW AAGPS 2017

While its early in the week, time to look at the only GPS rugby competition presently in town! Yes, I am enjoying this! So with one round down, High, SJ and TAS are equal first on two points, then Scots and Kings have one point, with Grammar, View and Shore yet to open their account. Its been...

    NSW AAGPS 2017

Fair enough, IS. Even at the risk of TAS, I hope they improve!
  14. Jim Belshaw

    NSW AAGPS 2017

True, QH. Mustn't get ahead of myself! But you are right on the injury issue.
  15. Jim Belshaw

    NSW AAGPS 2017

More and more interesting, Mike. So we go into the next round with the whole comp, not just the thirds, wide open.

    NSW AAGPS 2017

Bloody hell, Huly. i'm running round the kitchen like a mad Dervish. Go High! Yeah!!!! :) So High ends the first round in equal first. Given the pre-seasons, i knew Grammar must have really performed. Any Chance of a match report?

    NSW AAGPS 2017

Very nice summary QH, of the total results. While I don't generally comment on the 1/2s, its shaping as an interesting comp. Pity its not longer. Well done New. You would have been really competitive if last year's format was in place.

    NSW AAGPS 2017

Wow! Go Grammar. It may sound strange to say that when Grammar lost, but a lot of the thinking was about the size of the loss. While Joeys is still the team to beat, that result would appear to indicate Grammar is very competitive. Phew!

Broken record, here! :) Third results anyone?

I understand TAS won against Iggies thirds but not by much, 15-10
