By who? Most West Aussies wouldn't know the difference between Foley and Matfield.:)

    Western Force 2013

Why arse about, just make him captain and if he gets injured appoint someone else. There is no other credible option (unless they can talk Sharpe into one more year).

    Western Force 2013

No one questioned Pococks integrity. No one blames him for making the decision to move on. We were purely speculating as to if he would have made a different decision if faced with different options.

You will have better insight than me, but from afar it looked like Hickey wanted to coach on, but knew it was pointless as he wouldn't have gotten the role.

Tahs hierarchy start falling on their sword. at last

What's with all the cloak and daggers. I had no idea who you were talking about, but 38 seconds on google revealed the above. http://www.theaustralian.com.au/sport/rugby-union/farr-jones-wants-clarity-about-foley/story-e6frg7o6-1226437149814

Chris Hicky's departure was hardly graceful.

I don't think I would fit the position Bruce. Despite my confusion over the Force at the moment, I am generally fairly concise and clear in my thinking. I'd hate to be the odd man out.

    Waratahs 2013

Don't celebrate too early, Force supporters did that when we heard the Red's had signed Richard Graham. If there is one lesson the Force learned from this, it is that it can still get worse. Matt Burke might be the next coach.

http://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/sport/a/-/basketball/14401633/force-not-in-crisis-says-boss/ That's it Vern, you stand up on the poop deck shuffling deck chairs while explaining how the double thickness hull is sure to keep the icy water out.

That, I would guess is just the one extra foreign development player already announced in response to Matt Hodgson's letter. One development player is like a peanut to an elephant for the hole the Force have found themselves in.

It's official, David Pocock to the Brumbies

Hooper signed to go to the Tahs for next season, 10 weeks ago. The next person who laments the fact that Hooper will be starting behind Pocock at the Brumbies, I am going to like their post, then unlike it. It's the closest thing I can think of to a neg.

It's official, David Pocock to the Brumbies

With the hindsight of a nights sleep, I have to say you are correct. My dissapointment had some influence on my letter comment. It's not Pocock's job to provide an analysis on why the Force are in dire straits, the letter was a kind gesture from a decent bloke.

Maybe we should have paid more attention to the James Oconnor debacle? We all thought it was Britney being a spoilt shit, but the truth is his insight was pretty spot on.

It's official, David Pocock to the Brumbies

I love Pocock as a player and human being, and certainly bare no ill will to him for making this decision. In the situation it was the wisest decision he could have made, but I find the open letter rings hollow. As a Force supporter I wish he had laid bare the true reasons. The Force as an...
