    Nemani Nadolo

Tomane would be great for the Reds. He is quick and has quite a bit of ability. Also has a strong rugby history and was the first player picked for Queensland Schools a few years ago. Sad to hear about Nemz getting cut. I hear he is heading back to Brisbane so he might turn out for Sunnybank in...

    School sporting scholarships/recruitment

It would be good if the scholarships were better regulated. The school associations should set up a regulatory body to review all of the scholarships to make sure that they are working for all involved. If a school provides a kid with a scholarship they have a duty of care to provide him with...

    Reds v. Crusaders, May 29th, Suncorp - 2011R15

The oldest one would be ok but his little brother isn't quite up for it. Next year I will be keen to take them both. Part of the reason too is that I want to watch the game closely as it is building up to be a big one. If the Reds win this then they can do anything.

Not sure if this would be the best preparation for a big game. I do understand where you are coming from though. Would be good if they had a presence at club games if they played on a Friday night (not sure if they do now). I think the TV show will be good and I am looking forward to watching...

I think it was in relation to how big the players were previously. They made a big deal about it and it worked for them in those 2 games when they looked like world beaters.

    Reds v. Crusaders, May 29th, Suncorp - 2011R15

Crowd figures should be a KPI of the coach along with a number of others. It is really important. Ratings for their games could also be included to a lesser extent. Staying home and watching the game is also a lot easier if you have young kids. I would love to go to the Crusaders game but I...

    Reds v. Crusaders, May 29th, Suncorp - 2011R15

I don't think the Sunday arvo slot will rule to many people out. It was the traditional time the big matches were played when I was younger. I also think a few league fans will come and have a look at Thorn and SBW. Broncos get big crowds in Brisbane on a Sunday. I also like the fact it is on...

    QLD Premier Rugby 2011

Had a chat to Tim Sampson on Saturday night and he was very impressed with how the squad was developing for the season. Told me they had things in place for when the U20's go away. I hope to catch one of their games soon.

I am not against playing a guys up if they are the best players available. My comment was more focused on the fact that it is a weakened 1st XV team for a number of reasons (age group, damaged fields, limited trials etc.) and playing a large number of Under 16 players in the 1st XV also weakens...

    QLD GPS Rugby 2011

My understanding is that they have the same coach as they have had for the previous 2 years. This year has been a concern for some time as it has been noted that they are not a strong grade so they have a few players from U16 playing up (6 from what I have been told). I'm not sure if this is a...

If anyone is going can they ask 1) Why they have stopped playing like they did in the first 2 games of the year as if they recapture that form they could win the comp? 2) They made such a big song and dance at the start of the season about everyone being bigger and how much work they did in...

Also would be good if the All Blacks could pick Sosene Anesi and play him every game.

Foreign Players in Super Rugby Making World Cup Teams

I think they would be stupid to leave Delve out. He is in incredible form and is developing a knowledge of playing in the Southern Hemisphere, playing against the best players in the world. He is always best on field and I can't recall a game he played badly in (haven't seen the game from last...

Holmes should be a chance to start. His elbow wasn't causing him any issues and he hasn't played for a few weeks. Would be good to give him half a game just for fitness.

    Reds 2011

Josh came off the bench for reserve grade on the weekend. Not sure how long he is around for and may not get a start in Prems this weekend. Contracted players could slip in below 1, Greg Holmes 2, Albert Anae 3, PAE 4, Adam Wallace-Harrision 5, Rob Simmons 6, Jack Shatz 7, Liam Gill 8, Leroy...

IRB U/20 Tournament and Oz Squad

He was always a fullback at school and played fullback then centre before ending up playing 10. When he played Premier he was used at 13 and I think that this suits him well. What surprised me was how fast he was when he played Premier as he didn't seem to show his speed at colts level. He has...

    Melbourne Rebels 2011

Just out of interest has Gareth Delve had a bad game for the Rebels yet? He is an absolute machine and seems to have gone from strength to strength since moving to Australia. I think Wales would be very wise to pick him for the World Cup.
