RWC 2015 Final - Australia v New Zealand, Twickenham, Sunday 1 November, 3:00 AEDT

Not 50-50. 35-65ish. All Blacks deserved favourites, but Australia still in with a really really good shot.

    World Rugby Awards 2015

NMS will have it. Obviously Lobzhanidze is ridiculously young and hasn't looked off the pace whatsoever, but he'll not get it because of politics. Bennett could be the next BOD or Conrad, but he's defos not there yet. NMS has been much better over the course of the tournament. There'll be no...

    The Fallout from RWC 2015

Sure, lets make an 8 team 6 nations, add Georgia and Romania. Very happy to do that. While we're at it, lets add Japan, Samoa, Tonga and Fiji to the Rugby Championship. 7 games, rotate home and away fixture on a yearly basis for both comps. Shouldn't be a problem for anyone.

    Reds 2016

1 Japanese international, 1 regular international, 1 development international for Brumbies, Tahs and Reds. 1 Japanese international, 2 regular internationals, 5 development internationals for Force and Rebels. ARU can grant exemptions, and Japanese players can be regular internationals too...

    Wallaby Locks - The Future

Obviously it depends on body shape, but someone like Arnold would have an absolutely ridiculous wingspan. The 15cm between Lopeti and Arnold could easily become 20cm+ all else being even. Anyway, there's some quality here. Simmons and Douglas will last to next World Cup at least. Add on Arnold...

RWC 2015 Semi Final 2 - Australia v Argentina Twickenham, Monday 19 October, 2:45 AEDT

Been discussed. No Australian players=no ruck=no offside. Regardless of the legality, it was nothing short of shocking defending, with no pillars and no sweeper, something which should be worked on to ensure it doesn't happen again.

Much like Tommy Kingston, I think that not being contracted for 2016 makes you eligible too.

I'll just unsubscribe and hope it doesn't pop up much more then.

Think we've probably reached the limits of reasonable discourse. People's opinions aren't going to shift because of posts. Mods, if it's not going to be locked, is there a functionality to put individual threads on ignore?

RWC QF 4 AUS v SCO (Twickenham) 19th Oct 0200 AEDT

Maybe it's a bias as to the things that I follow, bit both the AFL and the Pro12 often provide commentary concerning potentially controversial decisions. As I've said, on first time viewing, I did think it was potentially a penalty, I'd want my team to get that one, so I'm not too bothered that...

I blame Webb Ellis. If he hadn't picked that ball up and ran with it, we wouldn't be having these issues!

RWC 2015 Semi Final 2 - Australia v Argentina Twickenham, Monday 19 October, 2:45 AEDT

Foley had one bad game after 2 good ones. I wouldn't be writing him off. The wide ones early threw off his kicking game, 3 playmakers was a starting system that only 1 of the 3 excelled in (Beale), and we did put a lot of pressure on him in open play, both with and without the ball. Starting...

RWC QF 4 AUS v SCO (Twickenham) 19th Oct 0200 AEDT

Jesus Christ, I thought the saltiness here wouldn't be as bad as it is. So many of these decisions get confirmed to be right or wrong throughout the season, International or otherwise. It's hardly unreasonable to point it out. It's an objectively wrong decision, but from Jouberts perspective it...

Well, that's it settled. We can now focus on the semis. Thread done boys.

RWC QF 4 AUS v SCO (Twickenham) 19th Oct 0200 AEDT

The penalty was disapointing. Not because the decision itself was controversial, but because if the game was to be claimed by Australia, it deserved a magnificent try, or a brilliant turnover, or a hard ground drop goal to finish. As such, it left a mildly bitter taste in my mouth, but it's a...

RWC QF 4 AUS v SCO (Twickenham) 19th Oct 0200 AEDT

With it ticking over into 7am, and the northern hemisphere rising from its slumber, I want to apologise in advance for the unreasonable anger, frustration and all round clickbait stuff, on behalf of the somewhat reasonable fans,

    RWC 2015

Born is a little bit of a silly metric though. I mean yes, Cowan, Hardie, Maitland, Strauss, Nel and Visser, fair cop. 3 kiwis through grandparents, 2 Saffas and a Dutchman by residency. But the other 5 will be Denton (Zimbabwean born to two Scottish parents raised in Scotland), Seymour (USA...

RWC QF 4 AUS v SCO (Twickenham) 19th Oct 0200 AEDT

Samoa played one good game when nothing was on the line. Whoopdeedoo. They lost 2 games and struggled to care of an abysmal States side, who we demolished on our own short turnaround. And yes, the theme of gifting us tries. Surely the fact that it's happening in virtually every single game...
