An old thread but still relevant: Marto is still employed by FoxSports as a commentator. Do FoxSports read these posts? Do they care? As has been said, I would prefer the option to have ONLY referee and crowd noise.

For someone who's allegedly done an AR and/or a ref' course Marto displays a distinct lack of knowledge of the Laws of the Game.

If there's back-chat from the Rebels, the ref' needs to grow a pair and issue a warning, or a penalty, or a YC.

I wonder how many of the corporate crowd are "theatre-goers" who received their tickets as freebies from their company? These people often have very little interest in the match and attend mainly for the networking opportunities, and the free drinks and food. Such people turn up for the opening...
