    Where to for Super Rugby?

I do think at times things have to turn to shit before there is enough inertia to make real change Maybe they expanded too quickly as well. There is a bit around in the back story that they knew the expansion of teams may have not been viable, but like many a CEO they will still take that...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I think these guys are well aware that they are on their last legs and resumes are being updated. You can't make these tough decisions in the current structure without being well aware that you will be gone in retribution The structure is a challenge, take too much power from the franchise...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

The ARU are on a hiding to nothing, Aus rugby is screwed, they are bleeding cash, the current Super rugby format has failed and the Aus sides are the pants Something had to change Was killing the Force the right decision? Time will tell But something had to change

I think kicking from 60m will make the ABs very happy. I don't want to make the ABs happy.

But he isn't a high percentage from those long distances, actually he is probably no better than Beale. I just don't see a lot of upside in his general play this year at 12 to justify his selection

We aren't going to beat the ABs by a long range goal kicking

So who has been good vs the AB's?

Yeah the ABs use that "crazy" concept of balance in the back row that lets Reid play to his strengths. I agree about the defensive line speed, but I have a sneaking suspicion that that will improve with better fitness. You can't play a high tempo running game and a high tempo attacking...

It isn't the way is being played. Pocock is the variant from the norm, most 7s these days are all-rounders, they can all do it, they are now just expected to do much, much more and the fetching is more opportunistic across the whole side.

That isn't the way the Wobs (and most other countries) play, they commit as few as possible and fan out unless they get a dominant tackle, then they attack. Under the current rules, the units slowing down the ball are all penalty magnets, Latu, Fardy etc

How often do you think we see the whole forward pack at any ruck? From memory there are two senarios 1/ the cleanout was crap 2/ there is a counter ruck call Pretty well every other occasion we want to see a ruck managed by 3 or 4 units at most because there is no one available to do their...

    Waratahs 2018

We had a captain grumpy (a "respect" captain) and now we have a guy who leads by example, neither have created that "winning culture" because we aren't very good at the moment. I personally think we get over excited about the whole "captainship" stuff. It has always looked to me like a...

So what do you think caused Cheika, despite Carter's good efforts, to look elsewhere? The easiest approach was to select him and not hope that he can drag other players through What wasn't Carter doing that Cheika wants from his locks?
