Sorry, but WTF? Do you really think there is never a meeting to talk over the selections and the assistant coaches never have an opportunity to have input? and basically Cheika just picks the team and tells them to work it out?

So when was the last time Fardy was making dominant tackles, clean outs or carries? Fardy's strength has always been slowing the ball down, set piece and turnovers; two of which under the current ruck rules also make you a penalty magnet

I think they are expecting our set piece to be under much greater pressure and Simmons is a better lineout unit

Shithouse is harsh, not to test standard would be more acurate But I do think you can coach units to improve the quality of their work/efforts, I don't think you can coach workrate

I don't understand Dempsey's value for the Tahs let alone the Wobs

So you believe the Larkham, Grey, Byrne & Ledesma have no input?

Wallabies v All Blacks, Saturday 19th August, ANZ Stadium Sydney

Up to about 10 minutes I thought we were looking pretty good in attack, then the wheels fell and we were raped until half time. I think the better fitness base helped them finish better in the second half.

I agree our best "defensive" wallaby 15 wouldn't have been down 40-6 at half time, but I still think they would have lost by 20 odd points by the end of the match

I will acknowledge that there are lots of issues with the players and the coaching, I disagree that Chieka is the major issue

We can have the expectations, but we have moments, like now, when we simply don't have the cattle to meet those expectations.

Or their massive media deals that allow each club to have a 9.4mil budget

Agreed, it is just our expectations of being continually that top 2 or 3 nation maybe a little bit of an overreach

Yeah, the NRL has a load of money out there at the moment

Hoiles made an interesting comment on the current Aus talent, he highlight the results over the last 8 odd years of Aus U20s results (about 5th in the world each year) and suggested we are about where that suggests with the Aus side today

Yeah, you have to reward the few positives and hope game time together will build more defensive trust

There were quite a few of him getting there ready, but not having to smash anyone On one hand, he was getting there, but as the ABs are wonderful at not committing, he sometimes is just arse up, head up over the ball. But I wonder if he wasn't making that effort, would the ABs have pounced?

Surprised by Hanigan's efforts, maybe we don't know everything

The "clocking off" comment was about the ABs ...................... not the Wobs
