    Brumbies v Reds rd1 SR2013

If it was the front rows going down I'd feel like it was a bad thing. However, essentially every ref sets his pace for the scrum and then sticks with it. Early engage is entirely avoidable and if you've done it before, full arm is justified.

Case in point, Rob Horne. Told to bulk up to reduce chance of injury. Now he is injured just as frequently, is not particularly stronger but notably less agile.

Don't worry about it, take the year to get used to it, learn who is reliable. Pick guys who reliably score well, not just those with large total scores. You'll get lucky some weeks and someone will score 500 :P

Moore's tackling was sublime, but in attack he was useless. He didn't attack the line well and dummying every time doesn't work if you don't pass it. It was like a slower Pat McCabe.

He was magnificent under the high ball, that's really terrible. On the plus side, it means Rathbone and Tomane will get more game time.

    372. Not unhappy with it, I hope my tactic of picking NZ and SA players a week early pays off.

I thought Slipper had a bit of a slow one, maybe the captaincy distracted him a bit? Hope to see him return to his best soon.

I heard nothing of it, I'm thinking it was just an off game for him.

While I agree with Mogg being MOTM, in the backs White, To'omua and Rathbone all performed. But it was the the props, locks, 7 and 8 who really lead the way.

Who else does not 'follow a team'?

I grew up supporting the Brumbies and really just want to see them get back to the days of playing every damn game like it was a final, with that drive to win and the ability to do so. From a game, however, I want to see something I can say "Wow!" to. Even if it's just one thing, if I have...

How long before Jake White v Ewen McKenzie boxing?

    2013 SUPER Pre-season Matches

Blues played the Highlanders, in Dunedan I believe, and won 31-29

There is a reason his brothers were called Search and Destroy. He seems to have it too.

    Cringeworthy Kearns/Martin moments.....minutes......hours......

Kearns does nothing to hide that he has biases and works with them. He was a forward in the tight five and that just means he is used to seeing rucks and mauls - he wasn't a great ball runner. This means he is only really there for his experience in those fields. Kafer is clever, but he needs...

    Rebels vs Force, RD1 SR2013

Those kicks looked like planned moves. The cross field one was a good move.

In all honesty, I like his running style and if it gives Lealiifano the space to take on the line, that's great.

Christ. Poor guy, he was impressive once his bricks turned into hands. I hope he still feels up to it next year. Maybe Colby could try his hand at Blindside? He can take at the lineout and is strong.

    Ignacio Rodríguez Muedra

Maybe he and Rathbone could have a chat. Wish him all the best.

    NZ Super 15 Teams 2013

A real shame, he was always a powerhouse when he wasn't injured.
