    Brutes 2012

If I ever I were to develop a fatal illness I'll just listen to Enya and end it instantly. If he can jump in the lineout he is welcome to it though. With earphones only.

They both need to do some ab work. Yeah no idea who will captain. D Pottie isn't a guaranteed starter. Chilliboy?

    Heineken Rugby in SA

Will people actually pay money to go watch? Will be interesting to see. So that wonderful stadium in Cape Town will be become the white elephant it was predicted to be. I have a mate living nearby and he reckons very little happens there except the odd soccer match.

Breakaway English, French, Saffa super rugby plans

I think pointing to quotas is completely off the point. There have hardly been any enforced quotas at Bok level for years now. The quote issue is not what it used to be. Yes SA has loads more players registered and yes, they should be performing a lot better but here are couple of hints...

    Cheetahs 2012

Brussow, Johnson, Smith Locks will be hard working as always Very settled front row that won't get pushed around. Solid pack. Exciting.

Whatever cake it is, Aus and NZ will be happily muching away. You can be sure of that.

And there are some fucken horrible Super Rugby games and some of the CC and ITM games this year have been absolutely shite.

Who's talking about not playing the AB's or Wallabies? That would be insane. Frankly I think if SA played a club comp up North, and then the Boks embark on an extended Tour down here every year and the AB's and Wobs come to SA, I'd be very happy. In fact it could be the 3N/4N as is? Who knows...

Did you watch the Heineken Cup this weekend? Higher standards in Super Rugby is a complete myth. The majority of the Super teams will find Munster, Leinster, Northampton and Toulouse tough going and I would say won't beat them over there. Ps Come to think of it I would prefer it as it would...

Dedication or obsessive compulsive behavior? Sadly it seems like the latter. his sport and by implication the Wallabies are benefiting from it though so I suppose there's a silver lining to it.

Because nobody decides willingly that they are now going to have themselves a disorder. That is why it is called a disorder.

Oh I applaud that as well, make no mistake. Even more so that he is prepared to admit to such a deeply personal issue in the middle of a career. That takes some guts. Maybe he felt writing the book is a way of dealing with his issue. Lots of people from Zim and South Africa have grown up...

I didn't realise that the money goes to charity. I still think as a sports person you tell your story when you hang up the boots. Wonder of the publicist is donating their money to charity.

I can't stand players in any sport writing book before they retire. Nothing but money grabbing. A young guy gets bullied into it by money hungry publicists. I read a lot of biographies but unless it is a sport person who have lots of years under their belt or into retirement, I say no thank you.

Former Springbok Solly Tyibilika shot dead in bar

Not all the time but unfortunately a lot of the time. Tragic. Felt sorry for the guy when he was playing. He was used as a political pawn which fucked up his career.

True. SA's negotiation tactics are not something to be proud of. For that I blame Hoskins and Marinos. SA rugby would be better off to get rid of these clowns. One clown down, two to go. But there have been definite calls to shaft SA. I still maintain that fitting SA teams into a NH schedule...

    Heineken European Cup 2012

Got to say the intensity of the HC can hardly be beaten. I don't buy for a second that it's inferior to Super Rugby. More kicking than we are used to down here which might be why there is that perception. I thing people who think that have probably not watched the games much. Some great games...

There have been regular calls on this and other forums for Aus and NZ to go it alone with the PI teams. I take you would be happy in that case that neither team ever play SA again for such awful betrayal. A bit over the top? I think eventually SANZAR will disband. Economics will dictate. For...

Another new season, another new rugby comp involving SA walking away from SANZAR. Yawn.
