Wallabies v Ireland, Saturday 16th June, 8.00pm, AAMI Park, Melbourne

According to twitter, that penalty on Saturday was the first time in 22 international matches that Tadhg Furlong conceded a penalty on his own put in. The might of Robertson! Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

    Rugby News from unexpected places

Great news for rugby in that part of the world WCR. Potentially, not so great for us, cause if that continues we are going to have another large comp able to be competing for our best players on price. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

If it happens in the next two matches I reckon we'd see a straight swap with Hodge at 10 Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

For whatever reason Sio took most of the runs in the Kepu/Sio/Timu pod. The other two were often on support/ruck duty. Probably a good way to expose and ease him in to test rugby. Reckon we might see Timu eventually join the other pod - which gets most of the carry duties, with the hooker...

Rather than height, experience is much more important. Someone with 10,000 lineouts over 20 years is going to be better than the guy who has a hundred under his belt over 2 years of playing and training. Of course, naturally taller guys who have player second row their whole lives are going...

2018 TV ratings and crowd numbers

These numbers are the average number of people watching the program over the whole time it was scheduled. Peaks for both will be a fair bit higher. Just means more people were watching at the end of the match than before kick-off Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

    Rugby 7s general chat

Tough couple of tournaments for the new coach. Hopefully with a full offseason we can put together a team to crack the top 3 Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

It looked like Timu was part of the Sio, Kepu pod and BPA was with Rodda and Coleman. Kind of strange that Sio had most of the runs in the former group - and the latter got most of the running duties Hooper and poey seemed to play a lot closer to the action in attack this games as well as the...

Australia v Ireland, Sat 9th June @ 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

The LH side could go around the irish scrum and get the penalty because the TH side - tt and simmo - were rocks at that scrum, they had the entire Irish pack unsuccessfully pushing through them Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

Australia v Ireland, Sat 9th June @ 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

Simmo was locking behind TT for that critical scrum when they stuffed the Irish. He has his limitations, but he can do some critical unheralded things really well Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

Australia v Ireland, Sat 9th June @ 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

Thought that was one of the best rugby matches on in oz, free to air prime time for years, and probably the best home win for Cheiks given the quality of the opposition and importance of the match for the series. Great test match rugby Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

    June Internationals not involving Australia

ABs have had 38 players carded and their opposition have had 22 since 2013. It's a weird tactic the refs have for rigging matches for them... Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
