    Rebels 2014

We had a quick chat before the Blues game last year and he convinced me to put $20 on the Brumbies. Not that I would have enjoyed the pie anyway in that game.

    Reds 2013

Just the lack of moon boot and that he isn't playing yet. I wouldn't expect to see him for two weeks.

    Rebels 2014

Rumor mill certain, aka not very. But he's off contract at the end of the year and Jake White had a chat to him. Also makes sense with the loss of Kimlin, Fardy to 6 and Pyle to 4.

I know how you feel, 4th. It won't last.

Apparently Hugh Pyle is on his way back to Canberra too.

    Brumbies 2013

So really, our best bet is McCabe at 13 for Smith. We can't just dump Smith though, so I expect rotation.

    Brumbies 2014

I'm fighting flu, so I didn't even make it to the Tonga game. It's not even 5min drive away either. If I was Jake White, I'd be rotating Alexander, Palmer, Sio and Murphy so next year we have an experienced front row. When the Kings come to town, expect Murphy, Siliva and Sio to start.

    Rebels 2013

One of the reasons I feel Genia has declined over his time with the Wallabies is because he knows that if he is fit, he is the starting 9 and probably won't be taken off. Phipps improved in the EOYT when Sheehan was coming on with 30 to go, or even starting ahead of him. Hopefully Chieka decides...

    Brumbies 2014

I saw Sio in the Samoa match, god he is good. I don't mind him only being able to play 60 minutes of his best per match, his fitness will only improve as time goes on. Edit: Said Tonga, meant Samoa.

    Brumbies 2013

If we look at what the backline can be with McCabe To'omua, Rathbone, McCabe, Smith, Speight, Mogg Benefits: Crashball McCabe, 10-12 channel isn't a gaping hole in defense Draw backs: Lose Lealiifano, no long pass from 12 Lealiifano, Rathbone, McCabe, Smith, Speight, Mogg Benefits: Crashball...

Brumbies vs Waratahs Super Rugby-R4 2013

I'm not saying I want the Tahs to be smashed... I just want them to score three tries and lose by 8.

    Brumbies 2014

Alexander is a better tight head than loose head and both Rory and Scott play either, but preferably loose. End of 2014, Rory is eligible for Wallabies so if he spends that year developing as the Brumbies first choice loose head, that'll be good. Apparently Hugh Pyle of the Rebels is in...

    Rebels 2013

Shame for the Rebels to lose their first Wallaby, and I don't know if I'd prefer three-years-older Burgess, but let's hope for the best. I actually feel for Lucas here, with Barnes back he would have probably taken McKibbin's spot in the lineup. No way that will happen now.

    Fantasy Super rugby 2013

Sorry about that :S Hall was impressive against the Crusaders, maybe hope for him? Remember that most of your points will come from the Hooker, Fly Half, Backrow and Outside Backs. To this end, why not look towards taking money away from Locks and Props and move it towards Backrow? Messam...

    Sharpie.

Last year we had a couple of guys talking about how Kafe could run a weekly analysis show of some kind. If you had Sharpe and Kafe, occasionally someone else, is that the sort of show any of you would watch? Sharpe seems perfect for analysis.

Should Australia go for the 2027 RWC?

And at the time England and Australia were the two best teams in the world. Now that title is held by New Zealand and South Africa. In ten years it will be someone else, another 10, another team.

The way Deans explains the whole George Smith selection issue makes infinitely more sense than what Pulver says.

Brumbies vs Waratahs Super Rugby-R4 2013

So the way I see it, one of two things will happen: 1. The Waratahs avoid breakdowns but lose the ball when eventually tackled. 2. The Waratahs fail to avoid the breakdown and their one-man-out strategy means they lose the ball after about three phases.

    Fantasy Super rugby 2013

My idea here is that the Waratahs seem to be going for this never-get-tackled-offload-always strategy, and Moore gets about 20 of his points from tackling every week. He'll be my captain next week, because the Sharks are very powerful in the breakdown and won't be too fussed to be tackled. I...

I'm pretty sure that both the Blacks and the Boks knew that 7 was key to our game and targeted Hooper anyway.
