    Wallabies 2012 Championship Squad

Surely AWH would be a good lock to have on board until Horwill returns. Maybe beyond as Sharpie will definitely bow out after TRC. It is a position where some experience is needed pretty much all of the time and there needs to be some back-up if Horwill goes down again....god forbid. He slots...

    Wallabies 2012 Championship Squad

That's it. It is just a training squad and he needs enough bodies to have opposed training. Meanwhile the medical team has a chance to assess a couple of returning Wallabies and Deans gets a look at a few potential future Wallabies. When the first "playing" squad is announced after the...

    Wallabies 2012 Championship Squad

Kimlin fits the mold of a 5-6 utility better than either of them and I am surprised he missed out considering his recent form. Palu has been playing OK but is injury prone and not noted as a big match player. I would have liked to have seen another Brumbies backrower there to cover him.

    Wallabies 2012 Championship Squad

He looks very solid at scrumtime and pretty good in the tight stuff

    Wallabies 2012 Championship Squad

No Qlders.....no JOC (James O'Connor)....no Tomane Training squad

    Wallabies 2012 Championship Squad

what time do they announce the squad?

    Wallabies 2012 Championship Squad

Palmer will be there as backup for Kepu. AWH is in great form and should be there until Horwill returns. Unfortunately this will not happen unless Sharpie gets injured at some point in TRC. Kimlin has also been in very good form and deserves consideration but our backrow stocks are excellent...

    How long will Quade get?

Yeah....it doesn't look good on the replay. BB shouldn't have played so well against Wales.

Stormers vs Rebels Rnd 18 Super Rugby 2012

I guess it is not really fair to single him out but the Rebels had a lot of momentum going into the last 5-10 minutes and those 3 slip ups stalled it for them.

Stormers vs Rebels Rnd 18 Super Rugby 2012

Stirzaker looks to have excellent potential. Who was the #3 for the Rebs? Single handedly threw it away in the last 5 minutes. 2 silly penalties and that knock on. Nice to see Stirlo bow out in pretty good style. Another great Wallaby departs the fold. Rebs had a reasonable year.

    How long will Quade get?

Only saw it live but it looked as though BB ducked into it at the last second causing the hit to go high and Cooper stood his ground and continued with the tackle. I would think the yellow will be enough. Has he been cited? That ducking technique could have something to do with Barnes having...

    Quade Cooper's defence this year

She looks pretty tough to bring down head on

    Rugby Championship 2012: Our Backline

So who takes JOCs wing spot? Mitchell looks very under-cooked right now. Probably Tomane.

Will the Reds make the Final?

This is their time..........after 16 years and 17 rounds

    Waratahs V Brumbies @ Homebush

Could it be that Foley rates Mumm and Douglas above Timani?
  16. Joe Blow

JOC (James O'Connor)'s best position for the Wallabies.

Wing.....I think. He could handle any position in the backs except 9, and with a little practice he could probably be #2 there. I think he is 3rd in line for 12 after McCabe then Barnes. 4th in line for 10 after Cooper, Lilo/Beale and Barnes. 2nd in line for fullback after Beale, maybe 3rd if...

    S15 - Rebels V Reds

If he could fix the hair it would help a lot.

    S15 - Rebels V Reds

Unless that utility is better in the position than the specialist. For instance, would you play Vuna ahead of JOC (James O'Connor) because Vuna is a specialist winger and JOC (James O'Connor) is a utility?

    Rugby Championship 2012: Our Backline

We just won a series against the 6 Nations grandslam champs with one hand tied behind our back. That hand being Horwill, Cooper, JOC (James O'Connor), Beale(for the important part) and Mitchell being unavailable. The return of Cooper, JOC (James O'Connor) and Beale will give our backline some big teeth. Genia Cooper Ioane...

    Rugby Championship 2012: Our Backline

I disagree. Cooper-McCabe at 10-12 is very balanced. I think we will see both Cooper and Barnes in the 22 and if Cooper starts and is off his game, he can be replaced by Barnes at any point. By the same token Barnes can always start and Cooper can replace him at some point. The problem is how to...
