    Brumbies 2020

No, unless we're talking about Viking Park it's certainly not the point........... The point is that Manuka is easier to access for most of the territory, as it lies deadset in the middle of Canberra, and a stone's throw away from our border cousins in Queanbeyan. The current problem is that...

    Brumbies 2020

There’s a lot of factors why the crowds are down, and much of that fits into the overall trend across the country......... What I don’t buy is the idea that supporters are not showing up because they care about the boardroom antics of 2016, or Andy Friend’s firing......... If the casual...

    Brumbies 2020

I’d like to see the Canberra Times data on those “polls,” as they appear to be based less on any scientific methodology, and more so on random Facebook posts from a few aggrieved fans, which will hardly provide legitimate results. It is as we say......... bad journalism.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

If RA took on the production themselves they would be forking out for production costs, whether they manage that themselves or hire a third party company to manage that for them........... The benefit of that approach is that the networks (especially the FTA networks) like to receive pre...

    Brumbies 2020

I can understand some members who have forked out for parking at Bruce being a little put off, but as I've said earlier in this thread - the location of Manuka stadium is infinitely better and is easier to access for half the territory, it's surrounded by food and drink options so people can...

Canberra Stadium is not exactly a rectangular stadium either.........

Joe Marler facing a minimum 12 week suspension for grabbing AWJ's testicles......... https://www.foxsports.com.au/rugby/six-nations/ball-tampering-england-star-faces-12week-ban-for-grabbing-wales-captains-genitals/news-story/3fa70197c424e8c06b3192349457dca5

    RD6 : Brumbies v Sunwolves, Wollongong Friday 6 March 2:45pm AEDT

I have doubts that after 7 years Sio's playing abilities have been lost over one summer......... He's out of sorts, been carrying an injury............ let's wait and see how he's travelling in round 18. I don't recall him having a poor RWC......... he definitely had a great game against...

    Wallabies 2020

Naisarani finally seems to be getting utilised by the Rebels in the lineout this year, and I think has already well surpassed his total number of lineout wins from last year............ From memory he jumped frequently and quite well for both the Force and the Brumbies, but only took something...

    Wallabies 2020

All 3 (4 if you include Dempsey) no 8 options are all utilised as a 3rd/4th jumping option for each team, although none of them really dominant in that area though like Mowen or Higgers were.......... All of them strong ball carriers though............ Naisarani still the standout in that...

    Wallabies 2020

I thought he should've been there last year, definitely above Coleman and Simmons in the pecking order on form........ but, RWC year, blah blah blah......... He's apparently heading overseas at the end of the season, so that might count against him, but I think we're probably too short on...

    Wallabies 2020

I would say, at this stage, that Wilson and Lolesio are the two bolters in line to be included in the squad.........

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

I couldn't really speak for Fox, but depending on the production on match day they might have a team of producers, some production staff(both in house and freelance - evs operators etc.), commentators, makeup for the control studio/control room side of things........ and then then the on site...

    Wallabies 2020

I think Wright misses out if Hooper is starting.......... Samu is ideal on the bench because he's flexible across all 3 positions, is a strong ball runner, smart, skillful and can be used in the lineout as a 3rd/4th option despite his lack of height......... I'm not sure if I'd play both...

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Just in regards to the on site broadcasting for sports............ All of the OB truck facilities on location have always been supplied by a third party company (it used to be Global, now NEP who acquired them and also look after the pre-production for the AFL and cricket now) and are hired...

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

They should consult with the NBL to see how they've gone about producing their own content, and then supplying it to ESPN and Viceland......... Tennis Australia and Supercars are also their own host broadcasters, but they're certainly more flush with cash.

    Wallabies 2020

It was just the Sunwolves, but Valetini had another monster performance yesterday........ I'm pretty sure he would've driven one of the Sunwolves players back 40m beyond his try line if he didn't offload, but then Valetini went and tackled that player as well. And I thought Wilson and LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto)...

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Indeed......... if they weren't they wouldn't be going so hard against RA and Optus in their toilet paper substitutes.

    Brumbies 2020

His tackles stats are also impressive......... Second highest* behind Hooper for an Australian in average tackles per game, with a 94% success rate....... granted, as a prop many of those tackles would be made in tight. Technically it's Swain but he's only played one game.

    Wallabies 2020

And just to be pedantic......... McKellar was Brumbies forwards coach from 2015-2019, and was the architect of their maul. The Brumbies also announced at the start of last season that McKellar would oversee "lineout and forwards play", and Fisher would take over defence.
