    Rebels v Brumbies Rnd 7 2014

I hear yer... Where to begin. With Lilo and Kuridrani coming back into the side the Ponies back line will be potent. The backs will have their work out for them. if there is any small weakness i'd say it would be with Jesse Mogg; didn't think he had the strongest game against the Stormers...

Soo...welcome Melbourne Rising, our newest Rugby Union team to Melbourne. I don't mind the name for our new NRC team; blends the Rebel Rising and Melbourne Rebel names. http://www.melbournerebels.com.au/news/article/melbourne-rising-to-compete-in-inaugural-nrc

As someone talked about before confidence goes a long way. Take that away with six unforced changes to a side and watch your confidence go.

He will be behind Toby Smith for some time but I have hopes for him. The advantage we have with max is he can play both sides of the scrum fairly well. He may still be trying to adjust to the pace of the game if he's a bit slow around the paddock. That will come with more game time.

In the trial game against the 'canes his scrum work was good. When he packed down with PAE his side of the scrum was able to wield the 'canes front row about three times. I think at the time franks and coles were on, so not too bad at all. Granted it was a trial, but still I thought this man...

Ok I get home and find out fox aren't doing a replay. Fuck you Rupert. YouTube it is. I'm not really hearing positive noises from reading this thread. I will need beer to soothe the pain

I share the views of the Rebels fans here, we kick it all night and we will be cut to pieces. Think the pack battle might be closer than anticipated and we keep the pigs moving around we could get an upper hand. Locking in the 11:30pm replay for tonight. Go Rebels.

I can put up my hand as one of them, much like yourself @kevino. In my time at Box Hill there were only a few; we mainly had a lot of kiwi, pom, saffa and polynesian players. All a good mix that made a good team back in my day (god I sound old).

There is a huge polynesian community down here, yes.

Good article on Tamati on news.com.au: http://www.news.com.au/sport/rugby/melbourne-rebels-centre-tamati-ellison-comes-from-a-talented-family-with-links-to-the-nfl/story-fndptz3t-1226860507971 The article does highlight the fact that Tamati is expected to go after a year to chase the All...

Or Sam Burgess, if you believe the hype :) He has a MASSSIVE curve to climb and a few bodies ahead of him.

Damm, they will be missed. Didn't realize Cruze was ahead of Eddie in the pecking order, thought his aggression would have been very useful off the bench. If Gus comes into the side can someone please tell him to run the damm ball as opposed to any more stupid kicking?! anther option might...

    Rebels 2014

Based on the article wit Baden Stephenson this morning they are in negotiations with all uncontested players to renew deals. I would assume this includes Hugh. Bring they placed him in the leadership group this year I dare say they are keen to keep him. Article here...

    Wallaby Watch 2014

Think Hugh would rather get the gold jumper for now, as opposed to the 2nd div coin in France. Given the article gives it two lines and focuses on Kane, I put it down to perhaps a bit of manager or media fishing. Think Hugh is a good chance of wearing gold this year too, he has been playing well.

    Rebels 2014

I'll write it off as a bit of media shit-stirring for now, but the prospect of Hugh Pyle looking overseas for his playing future is a scary one. You gotta test the market, but I think he wants that gold jesery. Given the article only gives it a few lines and focuses mainly on Kane Douglas, I...

The Awful Truth About The ARU's Financial Position

This coming from a person who resides in the fair lands of Mexico? I'm sending the border police around to your house right now. Granted when in QLD I will drink XXXX because I always prefer the local drop. Exception clearly when I go notth of the border I won't touch that Tooheys stuff...

The Awful Truth About The ARU's Financial Position

Still, VB and CD are far better than drinking that dog piss bottled as Tooheys. That 'orrible stuff gives you the worst hangovers, even more so than VB and CD.
