    Interchange for the front row?

Props that can really scrum both sides are becoming scarce as hen's teeth and I mean guys who can really do it that well that they are starting candidates in either position. The craft has just become too specialist. As a result we sometimes see scrums going to shit once the reserve prop comes...

If you could change the laws of rugby, what would you change?

    IS that planned / new?

If you could change the laws of rugby, what would you change?

Yes I am aware of that but as thinking keeping the arm up could help the engagement to be more level and possible get ride of a lot of heads than hips calls? It also evens out the competition it. Some props are clever in how the touch and it gives them a slight edge when leading wit the shoulder...

If you could change the laws of rugby, what would you change?

Not metrosexual enough. Players like Bieber would refuse to wear'em.

If you could change the laws of rugby, what would you change?

Also how about limiting the pick and drive teams use to close out a match. Sometimes it goes on for like 3 minutes. Although I guess it is a skill to not give away a penalty and hold on to the thing. Boring as batshit though. And how about a strict no dickheads policy?

Agree with all those but surely we should not be making kicks easier? Or do you mean line kicks?

If you could change the laws of rugby, what would you change?

Yes. I would remove "Pause" as well. So it's Touch, but the hand stays, and then engage. Not sure if the lineout one would work. There might be a grey area in terms of what defines competition. One guy in the air? A guy who competes directly with the player who takes the ball?

    2012 England tour to SA

Just to clarify again as some people may not have read much about Meyer's plans. He has made to clear the the England Tour will be no time to experiment. He will adopt a conservative game plan and pick players who can play it best. Initially they were going to be the most experienced players...

    2012 England tour to SA

I think Meyer will not accept mediocrity and will back SPies but if he doesnlt deliver he will drop him. I am quietly hoping for a Vermeulen at 8 or even Burger. Coetzee and Alberts will be hard to drop. Think it's the right thing to not chnage the team ad he has six more days to work with...

    2012 England tour to SA

Why not Lambie at 10? Kirchner played very well.

    2012 England tour to SA

Positives: - Scrum. Snotted them. Good and proper. Coenie did well at TH and LH. Those were the two most ineffective Pom looseheads in a long time. - Breakdown work improved but initially we got outmuscled. Improved in second half though. - Lineout. Solid. - Defense. Scrambled well even if...

    Who's to Blame?

fluffybunny. I farquin knew it. :) No seriously I would just like to thank everyone in this thread for such quality entertainment. Needed a bit of humor over my lunch break to go with my salad. After all, who wants leaves for lunch? Jiggles I am not sure what is more amusing. Your avatar or the...

    2012 England tour to SA

Not the most athletic. Normally jumps at the front. Hits the rucks hard and a good defender. Solid player. England's locks have few test caps between them so I am not too worried.

    Springboks Squad named

That is absolutely brilliant. :) -De Villiers: “It’s not the team I expected. Fool me once, and shame on me, but if the little boy who cried wolf leads the horse to water, I shall not drink. For I am not a sheep. I am the walrus.” HAha.

    Springboks Squad named

He wasn't great against the Sharks and battled a bit in New Zealand to be honest but I think it was more because the Ginga Ninja was under pressure in those games. I am happy they keep working him this year.

    2012 England tour to SA

Jannie is our weak link but destroy? That's a bit dramatic. Marler sure looks good but hasn't struck me as that good and I have seen him play numerous times this year. Somehow for the last ten years every single year the Pom or Lions scrum is going to kill us and it doesn't happen. Time...

    Springboks Squad named

Kruger a bit shit? Just shit will do. It is our worst position by far at the moment as far as depth is concerned. I will think WP Nel should have been picked ahead of Kruger. I have been banging on about Malherbe from the Stormers. Massive potential. Perfect body shap for tight head but...

    Springboks Squad named

The guy is a monster and seems to have a level head on that massive frame. With the likes of Frans Malherbe at 3 who looks to really have the goods SA could have a formidable tight five in the not too distant future. Of all the Bok forwards the biggest pressure in on Jannie Du Plessis. He...

Other than Zane and Wynand I'll take it Fark Lambie should have started. Anyway let's have 'em and spoil Ma'am's party.
