    Aussie Player Exodus

I'm certain the squad would welcome his inclusion. Morale might take a beating if another 4 or 5 also joined the squad. But I reckon that would only be temporary if the new additions strengthened the squad.

    The Pulverisation of Australian Rugby

Interesting article from the forum favourite today. Sounds like it will get ugly,if @Ruggo gets his way..... http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-union/union-news/ewen-mckenzie-helping-rebuild-christchurch-in-life-after-wallabies-20150212-13cw7i.html

Waratahs v Force, round 1, Sunday 15 February

I reckon the Force will never get a better opportunity for an upset. Let's remember that most of the Tahs have had one hitout against the Chiefs B team. I took the 5.25.

    The Pulverisation of Australian Rugby

The SMH article, suggests the opposite doesn't it? Just quietly how do the ARU give a "sizeable settlement" to her when she left, without a properly drafted release to protect themselves?

if he was not on an ARU top up,he would have just signed a contract with the Tahs. But the ARU announced they had signed him for another year.

    The Pulverisation of Australian Rugby

Well,KB (Kurtley Beale) was guilty as fuck. He did plead guilty! That doesn't mean the other parties were not deficient in their handling of the matter. What I don't understand is that Pulver categorically stated that he believed that KB (Kurtley Beale) should be terminated, yet a month later negotiated a new contract with him.

    Concussions and Protecting Our Players

if there was a Dr without team affiliations making decisions about players returning to play,or sitting out,I am confident that many more players would not stay/return to play after a knock. It's accepted by many, that a second knock is much more dangerous than a one off concussion. In regards to...

Waratahs v Force, round 1, Sunday 15 February

I reckon the 3 backs bench players you nominated were all ordinary at best, last week. There is a substantial drop in quality from the starters to the bench ATM. In particular,if Phipps goes down,we are in big trouble. I would much prefer Holloway than Hoiles as well, but I think Hoiles will get...

    Reds 2015

No point having a 10 positioning himself flat,if he doesn't have that style of play. If you play flat, you are either a champ or a chump. If you play a bit deeper, its a lot safer. It doesn't surprise me in the least, that Hunt played that position in a conservative fashion, given he hasn't played...

    Ideas for NRC 2015

What about aligning the JGC squads with each of the NRC franchises? If the kids coming through, see the Rams or Rays as an elite program,it helps to identify in their minds that the NRC is more elite than SS.

I don't think so. I'm Sure that his manager spoke with the Tahs about extensions, before committing to anything else,if they are not ready or willing to give him an upgrade/extension it's play on.

You realise he has played the game before this stint with the Reds? He will excel anywhere between 10 & 15 I reckon.

I would be starting Hunt at 10. If QC (Quade Cooper) was fit, they would still have given someone else time at 10,as a bit of insurance against future injury. So why would they go "all in" on a rookie, that disappointed in his debut? It's probably in the kids interest to be brought along slowly, rather than have...

    Waratahs 2015

Last week, there were plenty of players who will not play SS at all this year having a run against the Tahs. That is no benefit to the pros at all, especially when the full time Tahs players were outnumbered by freddy fill ins in Tahs jerseys in each of the games.

    Waratahs 2015

Last week? No. But I think last week had very little value in terms of getting a Soup side ready for the start of the comp. It's obviously a delicate balancing act to be ready at both ends of the season. Maybe it's the right idea to have this sort of a prep. But it is a risk, because in my view...
