I don't think GPS are a darkhorse. They have to be favourites to take it out this year. The had a solid team last year and added some quality. A few of the others have also lost some talent.

To be fair RR it probably helps if you don't. At least that's what I've found.

Sunnybank has the weekend off. I know GPS and Uni both beat Sunnybank. Pretty sure Brothers lost to Uni, Sunnybank and GPS.

So from trial form so far GPS, Easts and Uni seem to be in some good form going into the season. The GPS v Uni trial this weekend may give a good indication of what to expect when the season starts from these 2.

Uni host Sunnybank at Kenmore this weekend. Anyone know of other trials on? Just over 2 weeks to go until the start of the season. Anyone's are people looking at some teams differently. GPS seem to be the form team at the moment with Souths and Wests looking more impressive than I expected.

Also I was planning on running the tipping again this year. Will find a little time over the Easter break to set it all up. I will try and put things in place so that all of the home and away games are available. This will prevent issues when I was away and didn't manage to put the tipping page up.

Sunnybank were ahead of Brothers when I left in the second half. Score was around 32-14, it was 27-0 at half time.

The problem is the reliability of the figure. How have they counted the figure? How many participants are counted on multiple occasions? And does participating have any relation to a long term involvement in the game?
