RWC 2011 - Pool D - Fiji, Namibia, Wales, South Africa, Samoa

It's hard cause I've got a soft spot for Wales (like Ireland) but Samoa look like the only Islander nation outside Fiji & Tonga that could make it to the next round & wanted at least one of these teams to go through. So yes up the Manu!

I had Bismark too. I was lucky in that I also had the Beast who started on the bench then came on & got a try. Very lucky there.

    RWC - Wallabies v Ireland - 17th September 2011

Bryce gives us a penalty due to the Irish slowing down the ball at the break down, sarcastic applauses all around Australia..

Credit to Ireland though they are bringing it. Mix up between Genia & Samo, unsure how that was an Irish penalty though.

    RWC - Wallabies v Ireland - 17th September 2011

Looking at the replay of the scrum I am blowing up deluxe the Irish went down first. Stupid penalty. Some might say Kepu hinged. Missed the penalty, justice.

    RWC - Wallabies v Ireland - 17th September 2011

McCabe has to get his body lower into contact. Pretty deliberate from the Irish there would've liked to see them get a warning at least with that penalty. O'Connor misses the kick 2 from 4, 6-all.

Bit hard for Horwill to play the ball with O'Connor laying on top of him & never released.

RWC 2011 - Pool D - Fiji, Namibia, Wales, South Africa, Samoa

Just got home from the local mens GF's to see Fiji in the state they are in, f**k. I know they had poor form but I hoped they'd had more of a fight than this. There goes Fiji as a contender in this pool. Based on whats been seen this game does anyone still rate Samoa a chance?

RWC 2011 - Pool A - NZ, Tonga, France, Japan, Canada

I agree. I know I was bummed I had James in my fantasy team, very disappointing for him & his family. My only guess is they thought that with the Frenchs' on/off performances that maybe they were a legit chance there if France had a poor day. I thought it was weird though Kirwan came out and...

SBW gets the try from an offside position. 83-7 NZ. Stop that 100 Japan!

RWC 2011 - Pool A - NZ, Tonga, France, Japan, Canada

Japan going in for a try, good to see, that may well be their highlight of this game... EDIT: Certainly a couple more good things for Japan, taking Slade off over the side line in some strong defence, the little round the back pass from one of the Japanese props though forward showed some...
