Brumbies vs Reds - Saturday 22 February 2014.

Both teams have missed penalties at goal, Cooper's just going under. Reds scrum looks on top as well as well, walking the Brumbies back a little. Leckie's random number generator gives Cooper another attempt at goal, which is just to the left.

Brumbies vs Reds - Saturday 22 February 2014.

Reds 14 - 6 up, 23 gone. Brumbies led 6 - 0 early and were dominating until those two tries. White kicks the ball out off the full for the second time off the kick off, to go along with one in general play.

Brumbies vs Reds - Saturday 22 February 2014.

Electric from Toua! Wide ball from Cooper, 60m run beating about 3 guys and burning a few more for pace!

Brumbies vs Reds - Saturday 22 February 2014.

Turner in the corner after a wide ball from Cooper. Hint of obstruction as Cooper ran behind a few dummy runners. Leckie continues to make his presence felt. Horwill trying to work the ref.

You get the idea that James Leckie is going to leave his mark all over this game.

    Round 2 Saffer matches

You're saying that it was a good game? The kicks were not good, Goosen's tactical kicking was atrocious, particularly in the Bulls' half. You kick away the ball inside the opposition's 40m line on attack, you at least want it to apply pressure. Goosen's kicks just gave away possession and...

    NZ Match Reports

My connection is fast enough, just during key times Foxtel struggles, other times it's fine. Foxtel are in denial about the quality of their online streaming, if you look how many complaints they get and don't really address.

Hard to follow now, crappy Foxtel over internet is so unreliable. Claiming I have no internet connection, yet I can browse web pages. Well done Foxtel.

Francis Saili with a brilliant solo try in the first minute after halftime, including a chip and regather while isolated in three Highlanders.

Clan up 24 to nil at half time, including 3 tries to nil. Long way back from here for the Blues.

    NZ Match Reports

I agree, both Retallick and the Chiefs prop (forgot which one?) will surely be out for three weeks? Yeah the D for both sides was good, but they will both be looking to do better in attack over the next few weeks. Not great for the Chiefs pack, who got muntered by the Saders scrum. Hadn't...

    Round 2 Saffer matches

To give an idea on the idiotic amount of kicking in this game, the Cheetahs number 8 broke off the scrum on the blind side and only had Ndungane in front - and tried to chip him. In the first half I am sure that Goosen kicked it away about 5 times in a row when attacking in the Bulls' 40m...

    NZ Match Reports

Pretty disappointed in the game, thought it might've had a bit more skills on show. That try from Fruean was a beauty though, steam rolled two Crusaders (13 and 9 I think?) and easily broke McCaw's desperate attempt. Still, it's early days and NZ teams tend to be notoriously slow started, the...

    Round 2 Saffer matches

Conditions were slippery edit: first half, second half was pissing down for a lot of it by the looks, but that's no excuse for either team. Both teams were horrible, neither wanted the ball for a lot of the game. Bulls have nothing in attack wider than 2 passes from the ruck. Both tens...

    Waratahs 2014

To be the devil's advocate, a real weakness for the Tahs last year were their offensive rucks. It improved, but still wasn't rectified by the end. This leads to my criticism of Cheika - he instead chose to bitch and whine at the refs rather than fix the source of the problem - either going...

Brumbies vs Reds - Saturday 22 February 2014.

Slipper has a huge engine on him, though, and I would say could handle the load better than most THPs. I'd prefer to have, say, Slipper at THP and Daley and LHP if they want to maximise their props in general play.

    Reds 2014

I'm a Forever Reds member who already has tickets to the Tahs v Reds, and I would've considered that package. Although, I am going to the game with another Reds supporter in Sydney, and I did get very good seats.

    Rugby TV Shows

Thought tonight's show was better than previous years. It's coming off a low base, but it's definitely improving. Eales and Sharpe are too good choices.

The Awful Truth About The ARU's Financial Position

Lies, Bruce, lies! Why, there's CSIRO just over the road, including their radio telemetry R&D. Surely that would be a hub for public transport! And, er, there's Macquarie University Station just a short 30 minute walk away, very convenient if you can spit farther than the relative airspeed...
