Toby Smith likely to be available this weekend. Wohoo! http://www.news.com.au/sport/rugby/melbourne-rebels-happy-to-be-viewed-as-more-like-pack-horses-than-show-ponies/story-fndptz3t-1226916604929

    JOC (James O'Connor) Gooonne

Perhaps James slipper or Jono Owen are a bit partial to some banana hammock action?

    Rebels 2014

Probably depends on lachie's contract negotiations. I think he's up for renewal at the end of 2014?

    JOC (James O'Connor) Gooonne

So, could the Reds really be an option for JOC (James O'Connor)? They need to go through, but I fear the RG history could complicate things. Reds fans - do you really want him...

    S18 on its way

Question I have SAH is how will that improve Australian Rugby as a whole? Understand the logistical benefit, but I'm thinking about improving the game in our backyard first.

Injury report. http://www.melbournerebels.com.au/news/article/report-rabodirect-rebels-injury-report-monday-may-12th Little red out for 5 - 7, perhaps ready after June test window. Timani returning through club rugby (hope he plays for box hill) and Toby Smith will undergo further assessment...

    Aussie Player Exodus

Has retired and gone to Uni. His foot injury never really got better. Think it was referenced in a Clyde Rathbone article a few months ago.

    Rebels 2014

A good result, fundraising wise. Judging by all the social media activity looks like the players were having a great time. Trying to work out who came off second-best with hypnotist. I think they do the super selfie better than Ellen anyway :) I'm sure they'd welcome Barnes into the fold...

    Reds v Rebels, Sat May 17 @ 7:40

I can see why the Reds fans amongst us are not keen to start this thread. I smell a really good chance here for the Rebels. This is probably our best chance to get our first win at Suncorp. It won't be easy, but I think we can do it.

    Rebels 2014

OK, pipe dream officially over. Lilo has re-signed with the Ponies. http://www.news.com.au/sport/rugby/christian-lealiifano-resigns-with-brumbies-following-matt-To'omua-and-nic-white/story-fndptwp4-1226913358138 Barnes it is then? Any more news on the Tamati front?

They did a blue wallabies one a few years ago. Wonder how they sold?

So, did anyone go to the Rebels ball last night? How was it?

    Wallaby Watch 2014

No I didn't...shit. Probably why they are shopping around for Barnes or Harris tight now. Might be able to play the loyalty card, e.g the rebs gave me my start when the 'canes wouldn't. Think the ARU would want to get involved in this one, especially if izzy goes back the league.

    Wallaby Watch 2014

He is only half-right there. Word out in the hood is that he's still 50/50 on switching allegiances to Australia, but we've won half the battle by having him out here in the first place. Recently his good mate Scott Fuglistaller just committed for another 2 years; here's hoping he can convince...

English, maybe. Has been a little too quiet for me in the last wfew weeks and have to go looking for a little more work. Lucky to miss some meat on Friday night. DEfiently a smokey. Woody hasn't qualified for the wobs, but all in Rebel land (well at least everyone I speak to) want him to...

    Rebels 2014

The pleasant surprise type, i.e. oh wow we beat the reds at Suncorp. That would mean we've beaten all Aussie super franchises in season (the match at ballymore doesn't count), Personally, I think we're in with a good chance - you guys have a lot of people on the sideline and luck doesn't seem...

    Rebels 2014

So i'm still trying to work out why the Rebels asked us to brink our membership hats and scarves. apart from a bit of scarf waving at half time and some camera action of said waving, I must have missed what this 'surprise'. On as side note i think the camera did show one scarf waver who...
