I’ll have to watch it again, but Douglas is definitely in a position to receive the ball, and I think Gardner might have actually stated that Newsome was never in a realistic position to retrieve that ball after he launches towards Douglas.........

I actually didn’t see anything from Lonergan or White last night that should threaten Powell’s starting spot in the team......... It was White’s first game back though so I wasn’t expecting too much from him, but once again Powell’s good form again this year won’t likely see him rewarded with...

Rodda was the Australian leader for lineout steals last season......... Arnold dominated lineout wins for the last couple of seasons......... Simmons' stock has gone up with those two gone.

Nah, I haven't seen anything from Hodge this year to suggest he makes the squad at all......... Banks' form in Super Rugby before the break had him as the top contender for the position......... he obviously needs to regain that form if he wants to be back in contention. DHP was almost as good...

My only comments would be that Dempsey should be there in place of Swinton, and maybe Blyth for Hanigan........... It's not that Hanigan has been playing badly, but I think Super Rugby is his peak level. Paisami also unlucky not to be included.
