Just to add to that, the AFL is only broadcast on 7Mate in Sydney and Brisbane, even when those teams are playing............ And the NRL is only shown on 9Gem in Melbourne, regardless of whether it’s the Storm or not......... I expect, at best, Super Rugby will only be shown on 9’s main...

Analogue TV was shut off over eight years ago, so simply from a viewer perspective........... why would anyone care whether it was on the main channel or not?
