    Is it fair dinkum ?

Here's what they're saying in the papers. http://www.rugbyheaven.com.au/news/news/bmonday-maulb/2009/11/01/1257010107171.html

    Is it fair dinkum ?

Welcome MM, yeah, we all think McCaw is good. I reckoned he was the world's best player a couple of years ago. He's not that now, but he's still very very good. Despite that, there's a couple of incredibly obvious illegal things he does at just about every ruck. And it's not just McCaw - it's...

    Dwyer's Wisdom

??? Can't win, don't try? Not quite the ANZAC spirit, naza. Deans is making obvious and critical errors. Like you, if you think Pocock is better than Smith, or JOC (James O'Connor) better than Mitchell. You hate the Spin It Wide club. No worries, I'm with you. I also hate the "Go For Youth" crowd that you...

    EOYT Tipping Competition

This is a joke - I'm winning the tipping comp! If you can't beat me from one game down you're just not trying. Get on board softcocks! 28 games to go, starting tomorrow.

    Is the Grand Slam free-to-air?

Didn't I just watch the Tokyo Bled on 7? Odd.

    Is it fair dinkum ?

Thomond - clever defense, but it didn't get past me. Complaining about consistent and obviously illegal behaviour at the ruck is not the same as saying let's be pendantic about everything. There is technically illegal activity in every ruck, scrum and maul. I don't want every physical contest...

    Dwyer's Wisdom

But why is he building for 2011? I would like to win the Grand Slam, thanks very much. I'm pretty bloody keen on the Bledisloe, too.

    Dwyer's Wisdom

Deans is a genius and has a plan that no-one else can see. OR Deans has lost the plot and is too stubborn to acknowledge what everyone else is seeing. Pick one.

    Poms Vs Wallabies

Everyone is picking Mumm to start; Cross to be dropped; 10/12 to change. We'll see.

    Springbokke EYT

37 in the squad. That's closer to the mark.

Who is the lineout coach for Oz?

Mumm and Sharpe are both very good at lineouts. Chis and Horwill are too thick. If Jim doesn't coach the lineout, what the hell does he do?

    Poms Vs Wallabies

Yeah, agreed. Sorry Cyclo, I love you like a brother, but I think locks need to work in tight, with just the occasional run of 3m through the ruck.

    Is it fair dinkum ?

Junior, The Wallabies do occasionally squeeze a game in against other nations. On those occasions, no-one is bleating about cheating at the breakdown. Yes - everyone pushes the rules Yes - the Wallabies have a fairly shithouse ruck But - there are a few things which the ABs have taken to...

Who is the lineout coach for Oz?

We need to bring in some locks who are good at lineouts.

    4th Bledisloe in Tokyo

Barnes is an organiser. Plus, you just made the case for 2 play-makers, e.g., Cooper + Giteau.

    4th Bledisloe in Tokyo

The lineout was obviously going to be fucked and Deans was too slow to react. Mumm + Sharpe to fix it, with Jimmy learning from the bench. There's about a million lineouts a game - can't just hope for improvement.

G&GR Wallaby player of the Year: ABs (Tokyo)

Yep, he's going to score tries this tour.

Good point TOCC, but still ...

    4th Bledisloe in Tokyo

Elsom was pretty "direct" in the interview after the game. Basically said a bunch of shithouse midfield bombs cost us our chance of getting back into the game. Probably true, but we lost the breakdown and lineout again.

    Poms Vs Wallabies

We disagree. I think he is our best. Then, quite possibly, Sharpey.
