    Shute Shield 2014

Hate losing, a hard tuff game as @scaraby said. This isn't an excuse - dropping a heap of ball, and the bounce of the ball - it was one of those days. An example within the first 10 Maile looked like he had crossed the line and scored, but the ball went inside and spilt - no try. It just didn't...

Man of match. Oz v France game 3

I agree, thats why I asked - rankings on the right suggest backs are just pretty boys, which we all know they are. Some times I see choices because a play scores a number of tries.

Man of match. Oz v France game 3

I am interested the responses, and possibly a different thread hence why I waited for most people to cast there votes. What do people look for when casting there votes? An example - Skelton had a great game and should be rank highly, but did he contribute allot, or where his contributions real...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

I'm not going to bother with a team yet as it's to far out, all I've suggested is form 3 years ago is a long bow to select a player above a player whose had great form over 2 years and is now Aust Capt. Both players at there very best; I see Poey as a better defender, and good over the ball. I...

    Easts 2014

@Beastie sad its round 14 and Manly has to start this thread. Been 35 years since Easts had a real good year in all grades in the same year, and my old man talks it up all the time as he was in one of the teams. All talk I say as his head doesn't appear in any of the team photo's. Hope its a...

    Manly 2014

Marlins' record season continues against Two Blues By Adam Lucius Okay, time to get this record business straight. Manly's unconvincing 28-15 win over Parramatta on Sunday equalled the club record of 13 for most consecutive victories, set by Turtle, Gals and Co on their way to the 1997...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Example Skelton against the AB's No, Boks and others yes. Palu had the mobility though. Skelton need more and more and more game time, this will do him good. Shit yeah look at the running he did on the weekend, that is a perfect example of why. But Palu also had one of his best ever games...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

He's a good player, just not my pick. Hooper brings more IMO.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

There is my point; Link plays to win. Deans played not to lose. They are both awesome players, and we can all have our preferences. IMO Smith was better than both of them, but Deans still opted for Poeys defensive strength over the ball and that one dimensional game But this is the 2015 RWC...

    Waratahs 2014

Out of the players you listed I'd like to see Kellaway at 15 though.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

I did, and with the form hooper had last year, and still has this year he'd be my starter. Pocock played a Deans game, he was strong over the ball and good on the pilfer (both of which Hooper has in his game), but Link plays a different game and I'm sorry I haven't seen Poey play for 3 years.

    Waratahs 2014

An experience stable structure 10 foley 11 AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) 12 Horne 13 Carrara 14 izzy 15 KB (Kurtley Beale) AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper), KB (Kurtley Beale), Izzy would obviously swap around and tear the brumbies appart. However my choice if I had a say. 10 foley, 11 Kellaway 12 Beale, 13 AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper), 14 Northam, 15 Izzy, Pre season I would have had Horne at 12 and KB (Kurtley Beale)...
