I don't think Marika was on $350k. Surley a 31 yo winger is not worth that.

I would have thought he would have been one of the ones being chased by the Drua.

I 100% agree he is not worth it in our game, I just thought the tahs had a bit of room in their cap. I think on him being a 'trouble maker' yeah be mucked up fair bit but he seems to have sorted his life out & been pretty good for the past 6-7 years. He did his time.

Tom Nowlan's instagram post suggests he is signed for 2022, good depth lock didnt look out of place coming off the bench a few times this season. Hopefully with the confidence of a contract he can have a good shute shield season & add grow from there.

28 days away from the 2nd test at Aami park, currently zero games of afl in Melbourne. Would be thinking we are very close to this game being moved to the Gold Coast or Newcastle giving time to "re-promote" the game to try to sell tickets. Side note Geelong have chosen to play at home this...

I think that was Wessels plan for Jeral, breaking his leg in the final trial & then doing his acl 2nd game back didnt help

We already have a stacked loose forwards even without Isi. Philip back pushes Rob to 6 or 8. Wells is now a staple. Hardwick (off contract) is a pure 7. Wilkin is highly rated internally & was in our leadership group & RA have Kemeny in their eyes. I like McMahon but we cant fit him in.

I personally think its great he is in the squad but with who else is in the squad I don't reckon he is going to get a cap v France

I know the cap is going down again next yr but when you loose 2 wallabies & if DHP goes again you would think its at a reduced rate we should still have a bit of wiggle room in there.

He just hits those lines hard & gives us real momentum like Isi (maybe not quite as good) that wells just can’t do. Nothing against wellsy he is a brick wall in defence but his only go forward is a cut out pass standing on the wing. It’s going to be a difficult decision you’d think we can’t fit...
