QC (Quade Cooper) is out of the country, you would think he would be here for his own signing.

Thought this would have been the case. Give the chance for departing players to say their goodbyes before the last home match.

Rebels v Reds, 27 June @ AAMI Park

Thought that at first, but McMahon is starting and he has just come back from JWC. Same could be said for our wallaby trio, but to a lesser degree.

I think with the Rebels team you are getting a glimpse of next year. Dare say Horie and Sau are heading back to Japan next year. Surprised to see Scott start on the bench, but happy for Colby to get a start in his preferred position. Like our Japanese friends Woody on the wing is no surprise...

    World Club 10's Singapore - June 21/22

All major cities bid to host large sporting events, e.g. Grand Prix, State of Origin, Tennis etc.... Can't see how this would be any different. AFAIK the only things not bid for a the AFL and NRL grand finals because they will always be hosted in Melbourne and Sydney respectively.

Why not in Melbourne? We've proven to run 7's competitions fairly well before, albeit through the Commonwealth Games.

.....or even better let us have our mexican heartland moment and let us win. We need the hearts and minds more than you do right now to build the base. Have your heartland moment when you beat the 'Tahs at home in a few weeks time.

Shit, that's cheap. You'll pay that for a stubbie up at Ku De Ta. albeit with a decent view. Never found Beer cheap over there, guess they need something to tax.

OK, let's make it real simple here: It's the last Rebels home game for the year. Last game at Home for Jon Snow And Woody. Probably others, but we don't know who they are yet. The loser of this match will most likely end up earning the wooden spoon for the skippy conference. No one wants that...

$10 GA tickets for the next home match. Bring your mates, their mates, their mates mates and even random strangers. The best part is you get to enjoy GA with yours truly... https://www.facebook.com/melbournerebelsofficial/posts/787754861265074:0

So apparently Gus Roberts has been told he won't be needed next year and is going to head back to Sydney. Probably will try out for one or the NRC teams there.

May be the case, but he is only signed for this year. With our recent spate of OB signings he may be on the way home. Hope not, have mostly been impressed with his performances.

Sau will go before Mitchell. He was only contracted as injury cover for him, from what I can read on ESPNscrum.

    Melbourne Rising 2014

Well unless you like dodging potholes and arrows, night time footy at Box Hill is out. Daytime, well to me it's the perfect venue (no bias of course). Both player and spectator facilities are top notch, jsut need to do something about the gravel carpark. Lakeside option isn't bad because...
