BIL Tour 2013: Wallaby Squad Strategy & Plans

Didn't Pocock come from queensland schoolboys as well?

Wallabies v Wales: Name Your Best XV

To be fair, higgers cops a lot of criticism for playing too wide... I suppose if he plays wide enough then it may just be possible to be both a starter AND riding the pine :P

    Reds v Brumbies - Super Rugby Round 7 2012

Oh, by the way, what's the name of the brumbie that was slotting the ball over from halfway during warm up? I don't think he was the guy that was kicking during the game but I could be wrong...

    Reds v Brumbies - Super Rugby Round 7 2012

Quite a good game to watch live, plenty of ball thrown around as well as the mandatory kick for territory stuff and pick and goes... Reds back line still looks munted. Badly need their regulars back. Sam lane seemed to play pretty well once he settled in, although noticed him limping pretty...

    2012 S15 Australia Conference

More wins > equal points or better for and against I would imagine.

Reds vs Bulls Rnd 5 2012.

Reds this season have not had that Desire that they had last season... When someone would make a break in attack last season, there would be support players there to take the pass that leads to a try - missing this year. When someone got tackled last season, there would be support players...

Reds vs Bulls Rnd 5 2012.

Did I not mention that the bulls were too good really? I never commented on the tahs injuries last year and how that affected their season. Is your logic that injury toll ONLY affects the waratahs and no other team at all? The bulls played very well and the reds totally capitulated.

Reds vs Bulls Rnd 5 2012.

The injury toll is obviously playing a big part in the reds performance, but the bulls just too good really.

    Brumbies v Highlanders Super Rugby R5 2012

Great work by the Brumbies, I really didn't expect them to get up over a very impressive highlanders outfit thus far... Also a great season of rubgy so far with some very tight games in terms of the scorelines.

Reds vs Bulls Rnd 5 2012.

Just heard Harris and Lucas are on their way home with hamstring injuries... Big loss to us. I suspect that we will need to concentrate the ball more in the forwards and truck it up the hard way - not an easy task against the bulls by any stretch. Tough game coming up for us I feel. *edit*...

Reds vs Sharks Rnd 4 2012

I thought the reds played pretty well. Given the conditions, the reds threw the ball around and looked pretty frightening in attack. Our forwards scrummaged well (I missed why they went to rugby league scrums though, what was that?) and higgers was fearsome in attack and defense. Lucas was...

    Reds V Force Round 2 2012R02

I didn't think we started last year particularly well, a narrow win against the force followed by a pretty big loss to the tahs. This years start has been pretty ordinary form wise, but good teams seem to be able to win even when playing poorly. I would like to see us play better of course...

Sydney Football Stadium vs ANZ/ Olympic/ Telstra/ Homebush

Regarding the comment in the OP about the surface: This is something I have been interested in after watching quite a few games there of recent years. Is it that it doesn't drain well, grass is purposefully left long, suffering from overuse in other codes (and possibly the drop in pitch in the...

    Waratahs vs Reds - Round 1 - 2012R01

Can't wait for tonight. First game of the season, so maybe a little less pretty than some late season matches, but it's been so long since I had my reds fix!!!!!

    2012 6 Nations

Ireland v wales was a cracker of a match... I love seesaw matches. I thought both teams played some great rugby, the Irish probably kicking the pill away a little too often though.

Wallabies vs Wales, Sunday Dec 4

I thought he had a really solid game.

    Wallabies vs Barbarians

I don't like the way he consistently passes to the support player's shoulder. It makes the support player have to slow down, turn their body, catch the ball high and never be able to pass the ball on without oodles of space to correct their posture. Terrible passer of the ball in my opinion.

    Kangaroos Vs Wallabies

I know that better rugby (league and union) brains than mine have been thinking about this, but I just don't see how this could really work... 1. A hybrid game that is thought out over a couple of beers and not been tested and evolved over many, many, many decades is highly unlikely to be...

    Super Rugby Membership Watch

Does anyone know if you sign up with the reds, do you get to ACTUALLY pick your seat (from available ones obviously) in the selected area? Although suncorp is pretty darn good no matter where you sit, there are definite seats I would like to pick if given the choice.
