    Rebels 2013

Does it matter if they wouldn't compete for the Wallabies? There are plenty of players who are overseas who would add value to the Rebels. Mark Chisholm would be good if you ended up losing Hugh Pyle. He's experienced, he was always a very good super rugby player, and he would probably be...

    Western Force 2013

Whispers are that Richard Kingi is being pursued by the Force. Brett Sheehan is off contract at the end of the year and isn't likely to stay on. I reckon Kingi is wasted on the wing with the Rebels. He was electric at 9 in the 2009 Spring Tour with the Australia A team.

Waratahs vs Cheetahs Super Rugby-R5 2013

Why would you need to? It is all clearly Michael Foley's fault.

    Western Force 2013

Never bet on the Force. They have to be the most reliable team at losing games with the odds in their favour. The Waratahs of the past two years have been a bit the same.

    Wallabies Watch

A couple of years ago the cupboard looked a bit bare at 12. It is great that Lealiifano, Tapuai and Godwin have been injury free and in great form this season. Just a shame none of the 10s are firing and there are no promising 13s (when you consider AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)'s current form).

    Force v Cheetahs, R6 2013

I reckon we will get minced. The Cheetahs have some serious talent coming back into the starting XV. We can only hope they are really fucking tired by the weekend. When was the last time the Force won two games in a row?

    Wallabies Watch

That's a complicated one. It depends on how you see our players. I reckon we should use Lealiifano as a 12. I reckon O'Connor and Beale should stay as outside backs. We would probably play Quade at 10 the moment and he isn't what I would call a reliable goalkicker. We played Beale at 10 last...

I hope the Force eventually look at Godwin as a 10. IMHO he is the closest thing we've had to Stephen Larkham.

Waratahs vs Cheetahs Super Rugby-R5 2013

Kearns is smoking crack. The Waratahs have a squad with 15 Wallabies. Guys like Ben Volavola, Peter Betham and Tom Kingston would be snapped up by the Force or Rebels. Cheika inherited a very decent squad. It sucks a bit that there are some frequently injured players like Palu, Horne...

Reds v Force, Super Rugby Round 5, 2013

I counted that one out twice and still got it wrong. Haha. So 6 points. I was wondering why that didn't add up with the average win margins.

Reds v Force, Super Rugby Round 5, 2013

Surprisingly, Force by 23 despite only 3 wins. The three occasions that the Force have won have been wallopings. The average margin of a Force win is 31 points. The average margin of a Reds win is 14.5 points. Somehow I don't think the Force will score 31 points against the Reds on the weekend.

Reds v Force, Super Rugby Round 5, 2013

Ok. Fun quiz: If you take all scores from all of the Force vs Reds game in Super Rugby, who would be ahead on for and against and by how much? Closest guess wins kudos.

    Western Force 2013

Pretty sure that Alcock played 8 in his breakout season about 4 or 5 years ago with Gordon in the Shute Shield. Pretty sure Gordon made the semis that year.

    Waratahs 2014

Scott Fardy is case and point why club rugby isn't good enough to be the third tier. Had the ARC continued he probably would have been playing at a higher standard for longer and wouldn't've had to wait another 5 years to actually get a Super rugby game under his belt.

    Wallabies Watch

That is so untrue. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) is an excellent outside centre for the Wallabies. He rarely has a bad game for them. But like Berrick Barnes, he looks shithouse for the Waratahs. I am sure there are a few more players in the same boat.

Reds v Force, Super Rugby Round 5, 2013

We're going to get minced. Godwin to outplay Tapuai.

    Waratahs 2014

We will happily take Lopeti Timani, Peter Betham, Tom Kingston and Ben Volavola off your hands.

    Bulls V Force RD 3

Ok forget Hanson, TPN and Moore for a second. The main statistic I was referring to was the percentage line-out not straight. Sure those stats might not be 100% but for Nathan Charles it matches anecdotally with observations that he rarely ever skewed the throw in last year. I suppose it does...

    Bulls V Force RD 3

Nathan Charles was an excellent line-out thrower in 2012. See here: http://www.theroar.com.au/2012/06/28/busting-myths-around-australias-hardworking-or-not-hookers/ I don't really understand why his throwing hasn't been crash hot except that losing Nathan Sharpe cannot be underestimated. I...

    Bulls V Force RD 3

Gotta take the positives. The Force put in a competitive performance against a good side at a very tough venue. It might not have been a win but it's not like we are going to be competing for the finals so a close loss isn't so bad. Especially after last weekend against the Kings. I think it...
