Had 1 on tue wasn't too bad. Would have had a 2nd if the line wasn't so long at half time.

Yeah didnt have the greatest season coming back from inj & others may have pushed in front of him, However got his chance now & from our point of view really hopes he takes it. I certainly dont want to bash this kid from the capital he just needs a couple of off seasons of steak & weights...

Both Lomani & Sorovi back in the side for Fiji this Saturday as well as Stacey Ili starting for Manu Samoa. Well done to Jordy for getting another test clearly put in purely because he is the best scrumming 2 we have, don't think he might feature much in the RC but worth taking to Europe come...

He is eligible in as in played enough tests & now plays rugby overseas however, legally I dont think he could ever be employed by RA ever again.

I was completely wrong, I never thought there would have been 20k to a tue night test in Melbourne. The energy was very good as well. Best I've been at since the RWC 2003 game v Ireland at the dome.

There is a lot of strong discussion on RV/Rebels kids coming through, all I will say is (& I have said it before) we had as many in our squad in 2021 as the storm have produced in 20 years. On top of that we had a bloke play 6 last wednesday who came through the RV system not even in our squad...

if you ever get to see a Dewar Shied game in your life you'll understand the strong PI numbers among all age levels of RV rep teams/Rebels academies.

Springboks play Los Pumas on the 14th & 21st of august in RSA then Arg fly to nz & play on the 11th & RSA fly here & play at the scg on the 12th. 5 weeks away alot can happen in that time plus our 2 tests v Arg still dont have venues in place let alone with what happens with covid

in a parallel universe somewhere Checks is coaching us in 2022 & Kerevi is scoring truck loads of tries with that game plan like Izzy back in the day lol. Surely with all the spare money the tahs have & no locks on the market DC has Kerevi in his sights.

You never know maybe the BIL tour gives a real shot in the arm to springbok rugby. Los Puma's will be here they love it! If the boks dont come out again, RSA out bring in Japan & Fiji I say

Reece Hodge will play 15, most likely best side as it is atm 1. Orr 2. Uelese 3. Eloff/Fa'amausili 4. Philip 5. Hosea 6. Leota (i'd personally like to see him at 8) 7. Hardwick 8. Wells 9. Powell 10. Gordan 11. Kellaway (he might play 13 12, To'omua 13. Magnay 14. Anderson 15. Hodge 16...

Some real positive news coming out of tonight. Of course I am really wrapped about Rob but I think Joey is really important of the re-signings. Great work for the a VRU born & bread coach to get a crack within the coaching ranks.

https://www.smh.com.au/sport/rugby-union/ra-to-consider-calling-on-players-based-abroad-for-spring-tour-20210628-p5850p.html Looks like we will have a couple of decent locks to pick from come the spring tour. Bpa might sneak a few extra tests in as well.

Couldn't find a thread so thought i'd start one. No better place to start than the re hash of the truly gold jersey.

Most likely, there has been no media about us interviewing or chasing coaches. Looks like Foote has been handed the keys.
