    Wallabies 2021

I quite like this but I doubt Foketi has played a minute on the wing in his pro career. He was Aus schools #10 x 2 years, and pretty much in the centres since. One of Wright or Beale will probably have to stay by default.

    England v Australia - Twickenham, 14 Nov, 4:30am AEDT

Id be getting rid of Wright before Beale. Beale was targeted and I don’t think dropped a high ball - the ‘numerous‘ knock ons that someone referred to before I think was one above his head and one strip, and he also gained one strip. id certainly not be persisting with Kurtley beyond this tour...

    England v Australia - Twickenham, 14 Nov, 4:30am AEDT

Whats the Covid protocol? Surely more than 2 have it if they’ve all been training together, and now we’re all going to have it for the Wales game?
  4. KOB1987

    England v Australia - Twickenham, 14 Nov, 4:30am AEDT

I don’t disagree with that at all. I was very anti Tom after his first 17 lacklustre tests appearances but admit he was starting to grow into the role when he got injured. Like you I don’t think either are the answer in their respective positions, the irony was in the consecutive posts by Seb...

    England v Australia - Twickenham, 14 Nov, 4:30am AEDT

It's ironic that this is your view of JOC (James O'Connor).... yet this is your view of Banks. Like you, I'm happy to be proven wrong

    England v Australia - Twickenham, 14 Nov, 4:30am AEDT

I think the general consensus is that Banks is a placeholder. That doesn't mean he's not the best option when fit, but he's only there as long as we don't have a test quality fullback. That could well be Kellaway, or Petaia, or even someone like Harrison or Donaldson in due course.

    England v Australia - Twickenham, 14 Nov, 4:30am AEDT

I think Beale had to start. Kellaway is probably the future at 15, but we need to get our wingers sorted first. Twickenham v England isn’t the place for unforced experiments.
  8. KOB1987

    England v Australia - Twickenham, 14 Nov, 4:30am AEDT

We want to avoid scrums, England will be knocking the ball on on purpose.
  9. KOB1987

    England v Australia - Twickenham, 14 Nov, 4:30am AEDT

Clearly, as he went back on and played out the rest of the game.

    Wallabies 2021

I would have no issues with Perese being picked at 12 and won't be surprised if it happens.

    3. Hooper 2. Rodda 1. Kellaway

    Wallabies 2021

I may have jumped the gun a bit, I was going off the England match thread. However - Christy Doran has tweeted that he met with Wallabies coaches, that's all I can find on it at this stage.

And he has duly been called into the squad

I reckon we’re missing Kerevi more.

What Aussie tight heads do we have based in Europe? Is Kepu still there?

Scotland vs Australia - Murrayfield, 8 Nov 1:15AM AEDT

Well we threw that one away. The refereeing didn’t help. Nor did the rolling maul off every line out. We aren’t going to win many tests, nor fans, if we do it every fucking time. It’s ok to have it in the armoury but it needs to be a point of difference used at the right time, and definitely...

Scotland vs Australia - Murrayfield, 8 Nov 1:15AM AEDT

There are accentuating circumstances for a few Reds players not being there admittedly -namely BPA, LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto), Wilson and McReight. I think having the 3rd choice Brumbies hooker in the national team because he knows how to rolling maul is a bit of overkill though. Yes, I’m aware hooker is an area of...

Northern Tours 2021 - NZ, SA, etc

caught the last half of the WAL v SAF game. Now just killing time watching the ENG v TON mini till ARG v FRA starts. What a great way to spend a Sunday morning. What’s the go here, the soap dodgers are wearing a cerise jersey which means Tonga have to wear their white away strip - is this...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Or 3) there’s a contractual obligation with SANZAAR that runs until 2023. Everyone conveniently overlooks this. Covid gave SAF an escape route but the fact they were released so easily permanently is no doubt a signal that the end is nigh. I suspect that what RA are working on behind the...
