Rising v QLD Country, 18 Oct @ AAMI Park

The reason given was they had been in the Wobs squad all week, therefore hadn't trained in their positions. Makes sense.

Rising v QLD Country, 18 Oct @ AAMI Park

Two late changes to the rising side; Lloyd and Pom to start, Jonsey and Tom to the bench. Mitch to OC to accommodate Lloyd. Players also wearing club socks this weekend. Can someone give Jonah a nice clean pair of Box Hill socks please :)

Yeh I know, there is no such thing as a perfect world. Grateful we even have the comp, hope it's back for next year.

    Finals predictions

Fairly shit timing with the EOYT, again another win for foresight from the ARU. Still, I think largely the 32 named for Bled 3 will be on the plane to Europe. Rebels 2015

So the big announcement was the launch of the forever on union foundation. Looks to be focused on fundraising and investment of grassroots rugby in Victoria. I haven't read all the fine print yet, so won't profess to be an expert. Thoughts GAGR?

That was my pick too. Affectionately known to the locals as the 'pitcarin princess' I believe. Her name is Steve. If not, my money is on the big rig in the purple dress.

For the best mud in town try the Maroondah (Croydon when I was there) club. Sticky, smelly and thick - not what you want anything to be, let alone a rugby pitch.

If I had a choice between the 'cambur' or the pitch on a slant, I'd pick the cambur.

I did Google it and I was lucky enough to come accross some matchday photos. Pick which one is Dismal Pillock. Working hard at the scrumbase. Team shot, probably for the local Pitcairn newspaper. Quick run up the middle. Take note, Link Enthusiastic crowd on the...

Looks more like the wanganui marist XV than an all black side. Who's up for a hatrick of tries?

How long before you finish post production on the vid? Always love a laugh. The rising/Melb uni one was worth a chuckle.

So anyone going to the lunch tomorrow? Keen to hear what this 'special announcement' is. Still have my coin on a private equity.

With the waiting media, still stunned at the fact that a prop had run 100m to score under the posts. The film crew shooting the new head and shoulders ad will be waiting there too, probably with a horse.
