Was that the press conference announcement? Or has it not happened yet?

Would be great if they did. They are so important to the team.

A good game by the Crusaders. Class act.

Really? Do you have a link?

    Reds 2013

In terms of the lack of tries, it doesn't seem that it is due to lack of trying though. It just seems like the reds have been too eager to score them. The outside backs appear to overrun their inside teammates whenever a break is made - meaning that the last pass has to be either forwards...

Wheatman - Ah I see. yeah there has definitely been a shift in how they play, I had also made similar comments earlier this year as well. There is an article in the roar which talks about pretty much what you are saying as well: http://www.theroar.com.au/2013/05/05/the-jekyll-and-hyde-reds/...

Hard to really comment on the backline in a game like that. When the referee is happy to allow anything and everything to occur in the rucks, then backlines are not going to fire. The Brumbies game really knocked them around I reckon, which made them look very flat against the Blues.

    Force vs Reds - S15 Round 12 - 4 May 2013

A few years? You would prefer they played like they did prior to 2010?

    Force vs Reds - S15 Round 12 - 4 May 2013

How often does that referee warn a player during the ruck and then COMPLETELY ignore that player continuing to infringe and fuck the rucks up? Terrible game to watch.

That's disturbing if true. Hope he stays.

    REBELS v CHIEFS Round 12

An entertaining game, a bit gutted for the rebels though. A cracker of a try by Beale. Anscombe was pretty unlucky to get the fourth I thought, he looks the goods.

Only caught the last 10 minutes (damn you brisbane airport and your stupid delays), but wow, what a ten minutes to catch!!!!! Well done to both teams.

Losing Lance is a pretty big blow, I really hope we keep the rest of our team in tact (specially the twins). The balance is what is key to the reds and it is pretty balanced at the moment.

    Force vs Reds - S15 Round 12 - 4 May 2013

I would have thought that the South Africans were the current leaders of the Muttonbird Cup given their teams have a better win loss ratio against the other conferences' teams??? Anyway - go Reds.

Reds v Blues, Round 11 2013, Attack of the Attack?

The way Lee Grant explains it above (totalling points for losses) makes a lot of sense and using that method it is logical to disregard points for a bye. Conversely the points system that super rugby uses (totalling points for wins) registers points for a bye because that is an opportunity lost...

And Cooper and JOC (James O'Connor) would be absolutely feral in the one team and be totally uncontrollable. They would require an incredibly strong willed coach. Richard graham is not it.

    Brumbies vs Force - S15 Round 11 - 27 April 2013

I am amazed at the Brumbies level of fitness this season. It is incredible. I would have thought after last week (and other games earlier this season as well) that they would struggle to back up. The reds looked soooo tired last night, but the Brumbies are playing like they had a bye last...
