    Reds 2019

When was the last time our 9 and 10 stayed the same for two games in a row?

    Reds v Brumbies

34 degrees forecast for Sunday. Few of those players selected on the bench this week would be pretty happy not to be running out at 3pm I reckon.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Could you find more that that dumped that weren't sports fans? Those that have gone to Netflix? That is what the numbers point to

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Obviously answer (d) ratings =/= viewers (and just to clarify what I meant, this was the highest rating F1 race ever on Foxtel) What I think could be happening is that the people who have dumped Foxtel recently weren't sports fans, who have kept their subscription. SO the percentage of...

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Interesting that F1 broke their record for the highest rating Foxtel broadcast ever last weekend as well. Kayo doesn't seem to be impacting the ratings numbers for these sports - which is one of the reasons given for the dramatic decline in A-League ratings. How much kiwi interest would...

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

334k on Foxtel as well, up a fair bit on Broncos v Dragons last year 261k

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

We should do a graph of players/Wallabies who had the shortest off season v form in the first part of the year

2019 TV ratings and crowd numbers

It's a shocker. Been a fair old collapse in Foxtel interest over the latter part of the season. FTA ratings on One aren't even getting released anymore because they're so low. The FTA rights are up at the end of this season, hard to imagine Ten keeping up their investment

2019 TV ratings and crowd numbers

5 rounds of the A-League combined did 119k this week. And that's without AFL to further swallow viewers.

2019 TV ratings and crowd numbers

Can you post the source? Would love to have a read of that. Netflix is just about ubiquous on those numbers

2019 TV ratings and crowd numbers

Sunwolves v Reds at 3pm on Saturday did 38k

He is doing a lot of shovelling

    Round 5, Sunwolves v Reds, 16/3 @ Tokyo

This criticism isnt of the lad as a player, or his potential. The criticism is (or should be) of the organisation and coach that has him in this role at this age.

2019 TV ratings and crowd numbers

Back to reality a bit with the start of NRL Chiefs v Hurricanes 43k and Brumbies v Tahs 77k. Crowd and ratings pretty much same as last year

    Round 5 - Brumbies vs Waratahs - Friday 15 March @ 7:45pm in Canberra

For the Brums, their centres passed the ball just twice combined. Kurindrani didn't pass the ball at all (if ESPN stats can be believed). Tells you pretty much everything about their approach. Edit: not a criticsm. Run straight and hard at that Huntless centre defense

    Round 5 - Brumbies vs Waratahs - Friday 15 March @ 7:45pm in Canberra

I just don't understand what the Tahs are trying to do. What are their tactics? It seems like the game plan was pass it back 5m to a forward not running on to it with the aim of getting tackled behind the advantage line. Every second phase they played the ball out the back from the forward, so...

    Round 5 - Brumbies vs Waratahs - Friday 15 March @ 7:45pm in Canberra

After watching Genia put forwards over the advantage line with almost every pass over the last few weeks, it looks like these two teams are playing rugby from 5 years ago

    Reds 2019

Cause we don't sactually develop them. We shove them straight into the toughest domestic competition on the planet and then discard them 2 years later when they haven't immediately succeeded in favour of the next hope who we can ruin.

    Reds 2019

Same article in the daily telegraph as Thorn re-sign: Kerevi will be heading to Japan next year after the world cup, and this lovely article for a Reds fan in Sydney.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

The a-league's performance on tens multi-chanel has ended any hope of ever seeing Super rugby live on FTA I reckon. The networks see the dismal ratings and have no interest, and RA can see it has driven absolutely no interest in the sport and isn't worth the loss in revenue from loss of...
