A number 8 on your back

I wouldn't be suprised if Vaea, Dennis or even Jake Shatz get picked as bolters in the original 40 man squad, considering Palu is out for the tri-nations. Even if they don't get selected, Deans has a habit of bringing players into the camp young and giving them the experience (ie: Nick Phipps...

Semi Final 1: Blues vs Waratahs

Fuck you guys cannot afford anymore injuries. It is amazing that the team has gotten as far as they have with so many injury problems, fair to say it is gonna have to be the KB (Kurtley Beale) show this weekend for the Tahs to win.

    Phil Waugh retires

Link has said the main reason they aren't trying to get Elsom is because they want to secure Beau Robinson, so he is available but Reds are set on retaining him.

    QLD Premier Rugby 2011

I always thought Sunnybank was a wealthy club in comparison to others who generally struggle.

    Phil Waugh retires

Dammit gotta find a new public enemy 1# hahaha. As much as I've disliked Waugh, I respect the way he has lead the Waratahs for many years. Has been a great servant too them and I wish him luck on his future.

When you say other struggling clubs, do you mean everyone except Sunnybank? haha

The Conference System: Success or Failure?

I think it was only this year that teams would play two less games. Because of the World Cup I believe they wanted to shorten it.

    Wallabies Trinations Squad

The injuries are definatly starting to build up Gone for 3N: Horne, Mitchell, Tatafu (apparently), Barnes, Palu,Hynes, Hoiles, Ma'afu, Edmonds Currently Injured but due to return: Robinson, Morahan, Harris, Lucas, A.Fainga'a,Slipper, Baxter, Mowen, Pyle, Shepherd, Elsom Hopefully we don't...

    Fainga'a Bias?

This thread is stupid ( as many have elluded to). There is a reason the three boys have super rugby contracts....because they are good players? Colby wouldn't of been picked as U20's captain if he wasn't suitable. All quality players, stupid thread, end of discussion.

Semi Final Qualifier 2: Crusaders v Sharks: Nelson

So is Michalak eligble to play or not? He looked pretty good against the Bulls
  11. tigerland12

    Reds 2011

Lance will be fine to play, No Lucas, Morahan, Hynes or Toua for the first semi. He will definatly e able to play as an injury replacement

    Finals predictions

If he is back the Blues chances of winning just doubled. He was (with Drew Mitchell), the best back in the competition before he got injured.

    Top14 - 2010/11

Turinui would have to be 3rd or 4th string center. They have Bastareaud, Tiesi (Argentine 13) and Lienbenberg whose been there for a while. Also interesting, David Lyons just signed with them

    Reds 2011

I agree, Tapuai and Chambers have looked very rusty defensively

    Reds 2011

From a few news reports/articles I've read in the past day or two, it looks like Ioane and Robinson are certain starters. Anthony Fainga'a says he should be good, but isn't definate. Same story with Mike Harris. But looks like Lucas and Morahan might not make it. Our side looks signifcantly...

    Dan Vickerman

In the Courier Mail up here today, they say he won't be playing in the semi's because Kane Douglas is fit. Do you wonder if he thought it through, that he'd have only one game?

    Sitaleki Timani

Timani equal with Vickerman and over Simmons, Wykes and Pyle? Guys he is playing well but lets not forget there are many locks in Australia just as/more capable/suitable for test rugby. I do agree on him potentially as a number 8, Tonga should look at playing him there
  18. tigerland12

    Sitaleki Timani

Whilst he is playing well, there are a good 4 or so locks ahead of him in Australia. I hope he plays for Tonga, it would be great for a young bloke like him play in a world cup

    Reds 2011

I heard he wasn't expected to return for the Reds Also, Ruggo, I agree Shepherdson has been average when he's played. If Anae can play both sides of the scrum I say pick him on the bench.

    Reds 2011

So who is expected back for the semi's? Looks like Slipper is out but Simmons will be ok. Is Robinson, Lucas and Anthony Fainga'a expected back? Daley, Saia, Holmes, Simmons, Horwill, Higginbotham, Gill/Robinson, Shatz, Genia, Quade, Ioane, Harris, Chambers/Fainga'a, Davies, Lance/Lucas
