    Bledisloe 2 2023 @ Dunedin 12:35PM Sat 5 Aug

I am not pretending he is Rod McQueen. I'm pointing out that statistically he was much better than EJ (Eddie Jones) has proven thus far. I was actually vocal in stating my view that Rennie should be held accountable for a series of very bad decisions such as the Italy fiasco and, indeed, his failure to...

The core group that Rennie had developed had a better chance, yes. Rennie's team, even after the Italy fiasco and all that, was statistically much better than Eddie's has proven to be thus far.

Another THP who will last 10 to 20 minutes. Jolly. Not sure what the point of ditching Skelton is now. Definitely not sure what the point of Richie Arnold is at all. We actually have some decent local talent in guys like Philip, Neville, etc. hell I'd even prefer Holloway or Leota at lock. 400...

    Wallabies 2023

So they all have achilles injuries in September?

    Wallabies 2023

What is he doing now that improves our chances in two years? I think his 'planning for the future' schtick got found out in England.

Besides you and my brother (who left to go to a titty bar 50 minutes in) all 83,942 of them were kiwis.

We won SOO just two years ago. It has passion, intensity and a level of skill execution and fitness these blokes can only dream of. Behind the RWC final it is the premier rugby event in the world IMO. No comparison.

I think its pretty damning that was the best 7 performance we've had. He was involved a lot, for sure. Didn't have much influence though. And no slight on the lad either - he's a rookie 6 playing test 7. Thought the centre pairing went way better than I thought they would. Petaia shanked a kick...

Fine for 10 minutes until the next injury.

Schoup or HJH (Harry Johnson-Holmes)? Holz even?

Eh no hate. I genuinely had no expectation with these flogs. Not seeing how you lot overturn the Irish or French dominance with that flaccid forward display. Honestly still don't understand the Ardie Savea love. He does fuck all at test level (granted he had one good turnover).

Seppuku would be the honorable thing.

I loved how Tupou was scrumming with what appeared to be broken ribs and so what does White decide to do? yeah leaves it in the back of the scrum. Reset and turnover. Fucking genius that fluffybunny is.

I've observed this phenomenon where NZ fans are far more optimistic about the rugby generally but also Australian rugby than Aussies. I think it's essentially wishful thinking. You want the sport you love to be more relevant than it is. Sorry pal - that was near unwatchable.

Having had the love of rugby scoured from my body by the Wallabies and Waratahs I now consider myself an impartial observer. Here are my observations: 1. Thank god the Ashes are on. Actual entertainment. 2. The constant 'All Blacks' cries from the crowd have confirmed what I always suspected...

I'm off the beers so I can't even be blind drunk to endure what's coming.

    Worst Commentator Pole 2

I would take Kearns in full ocean of salty tears mode over Harrison. He's terrible.

If all was well with the world none of the Super Rugby referees would be getting test matches.

There will be plenty of space between Kerevi, Petaia and Nawaqanitawase. Of those three only Petaia is a strong defender, but he's no master of the positional play like TK was or Ikitau has become. We'll be conceding line breaks through the midfield for sure.

Some amazing attack and shite defence in both those backlines. Certainly won't be a low scoring affair.
