NZ Rugby's Secret Solution to Aus Centres

Actually, I did watch a bit of Mortlock this year with the Rebels. How do you think Ants would have gone there in Melbourne? Much better? What about McCabe? Now put Mortlock in the Reds backline...would he have done any worse than Fainga'a did. I highly doubt it. Mortlock more than equals...

NZ Rugby's Secret Solution to Aus Centres

Given the guys who are possibly coming back - probably. McCabe, Fainga'a are hardly proven at this level and haven't played so amazingly well that they're indispensable. Horne - may be good but hasn't played Super Rugby at all this year and has only a handful of Tests to his name. Giteau...

NZ Rugby's Secret Solution to Aus Centres

Are you certain? He has played on the wing in club rugby but I'm not so sure about Super Rugby. In any case, it's still a pretty funny that the Wallabies are even considering this.

NZ Rugby's Secret Solution to Aus Centres

Well, if Samo plays at wing, then surely this is the next logical step with TPN playing at 10 and QC (Quade Cooper) to 7......isn't it?? LOL

    Palu's Replacement

Ssssshhhhhhhhhh........stop talking that common sense bullshit!! The rest of us are facinated with what the Wallabies are doing this RWC :)

1981 Springbok tour to NZ - 30 years old

    1. Tahu denied the allegations steadfastly - John admitted to it. 2. Even if it the allegations were true, would that then make John's comments OK and alright? And a lot of the public's attitude to them? 3. In this case, the police detained and searched a man on suspicions of drug dealing...

RWC 2011 - Bitch, moan and discuss - Referees and Law Discussions

1981 Springbok tour to NZ - 30 years old

OK....that's just f**kn bullshit. Kiwi's, especially ones like me who are not middle-class caucasian, know that NZ is far from being racism free. But we are f**ckn a LONG way from where countries like SA and even Australia are. In my first year here in Aussie, Timana Tahu was being...

RWC 2011 - Bitch, moan and discuss - Referees and Law Discussions

As a very broad generalisation, I'd say that Kiwi's aren't as pedantic on the breakdown as Aussies are. I think we take more of the view that if you're making dominant tackles, driving the opposition back in rucks and getting there in numbers and generally just owning the other pack up-front...

1981 Springbok tour to NZ - 30 years old

The 'witness' didn't just say he had seen committing a crime, didn't they say that they were actually offered the drugs themselves? For people who live in a country where the radio runs ads telling people to call up and report any behaviour you might deem suspicious for terrorist activity...

1981 Springbok tour to NZ - 30 years old

When I was about 20, I was pulled over at about 2am one morning (on the way home from the girl-friend's) by a cop car in Mt Albert. Cops actually searched my whole car as it fitted the description of another vehicle they had been given information about.

RWC 2011 - Bitch, moan and discuss - Referees and Law Discussions

If you did video evidence of all the off-side calls that are made, I bet most of them would seem border-line. Contepomi admitting he was off-side is a big factor because it says that he himself believed he was breaking a rule. It's funny that when Contepomi breaks a law and admits to it, in...
