The IRB is getting too big for its boots

If you haven't seen this, Eliota explains his tweets. http://www.3news.co.nz/Banned-England-RWC-player-Sapolu-speaks-out/tabid/367/articleID/228251/Default.aspx

    RWC 2011 - Quarter final 3 : Springbokke v. Wallabies CLOSED

If you were refering to my post....those were direct quotes from PDV..... If you weren't then forget the last 10 sec or so....

The IRB is getting too big for its boots

I'm not saying that I agree with absolutely everything he's said and how he's said it but I think the issues he's raised are real. He may have had other options as to how to raise them etc but this is the one he's chosen and he's apparently ready to lose his rugby career because of it. While...

The IRB is getting too big for its boots

People have been saying this stuff for years, trying to advocate for the smaller nations eg. eligibility rules......yep, heaps of progress there...

The IRB is getting too big for its boots

The Samoan Union is in avery tough position. No matter if they agree with Eliota, the IRB is still the hand that feeds them so they are very wary about biting it. Not to mention that it really isn't in our nature to rock the boat too much.

The IRB is getting too big for its boots

Well, I think he does have more than one point and I'm glad he's raising them. Tired of watching bullshit decisions going against smaller nations, PI teams in particular.

Really?!? Eliota has no point to make?

    RWC 2011 - Quarter final 3 : Springbokke v. Wallabies CLOSED

“If we are going on like this, why don’t we go to the nearest ballet shop, get some tutus and get a dancing shop going? There will be no eye-gouging, no tackling, no nothing and we will enjoy it.” “I know dancing is also a contact sport but rugby is far from dancing. If you want to run with the...

If Eliota hadn't been as over the top and used such strong language as he has....would anyone listen??

The Samoan Union is in avery tough position. No matter if they agree with Eliota, the IRB is still the hand that feeds them so they are very wary about biting it. Not to mention that it really isn't in our nature to rock the boat too much. Eliota has tweeted some pretty harsh things about Owens...

    RWC 2011 QF4: NZ v Argentina (W Pool A v RU Pool B)

He's already said that if the game against Canada had been a knock-out game then he would have played - no doubt. I don't think the injury is too serious.

The IRB is getting too big for its boots

I think Eliota had no knowledge of the original hearing which he missed but has tweeted today that he only received the 600 pages 2 hrs before today's hearing which he has attended and is currently adjourned.

The IRB is getting too big for its boots

Eliota has said that the company that did Alesana's and Manu's mouthguards actually approached all the clubs in England and he's implied that almost all the guys will be wearing this including guys like Mike Tindall plays at Gloucester with Eliota. They are all professionally fitted and moulded...

    RWC 2011 QF4: NZ v Argentina (W Pool A v RU Pool B)

Jane = capable of stupidity. Really?? Can't really think of a lot of games where he's shown that...especially at international level.

Not another "Four More Years Boys"

How many PI players are playing around the world in different clubs and competitions? How many are playing for other countries in this world cup? Per capita, the pacific islands are probably the biggest contributor to rugby in terms of players and often, they produce the players that bums in...
