Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

Henry Speight is fit, available and will play in the NRC to try and get selection for the later stages of the RC.

Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

Agree with most here. The Pooper was great initially but the we have suffered at the lineout and in other areas as the opposition has worked out ways to counter it. I'd love to see Timani get a run at some point but this may not be the best test for him to start in. Playing McMahon at 8 with...

Bledisloe 1 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, ANZ Stadium, Sydney, 8:05pm

Kurtley Beale is the biggest loss to the Wallabies this year. I would suggest that had he been fit we most likely would have won the series against the Poms and I would feel much better if he was on the bench tomorrow. Cheika will bring him straight back into the squad as soon as he is remotely...

I am optimistic on a couple of counts there. I'll let you know how it goes;)

Bledisloe 1 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, ANZ Stadium, Sydney, 8:05pm

Sio is a good call as he carries the ball harder and further than Slipper. He is also very good defensively. I don't think this AB scrum will put nearly as much pressure on us as the Poms did. Douglas/Simmons will stiffen us up here initially as well. Is it possible that Slipper will be used as...

Bledisloe 1 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, ANZ Stadium, Sydney, 8:05pm

I'd guess that this is Cheikas thinking but I reckon we need to give Coleman as much time as possible during this RC. How long is Arnold out? And on McMahon, he may be injured but I really do not like seeing him, Pocock and Hooper all in the same 23. McCalman can bring at least as much as McMahon.

Well, we have legitimate multiple options at 9,10, 12, 13,14 and 15. Also at 1,3,4,5,7 and 8. The same could not be said for most of those positions for the Pommy series. Expect a better performance from our boys.

    The Rugby Championship 2016

Id be very surprised if Foley is not one of the first picked but I reckon we will see QC (Quade Cooper) during the RC and moving forward with both Giteau and To'omua out of the picture in the near future. Quade does have skills and a decent kicking game but his temperament is questionable. That may change at...

    Sydney Subbies 2016

Just heard the news about Linfield. I used to play against them in Kentwell and Burke cup many moons ago. Always thought there was something not above board up there;)

Maybe a couple of them will learn how to kick?

I'd guess that Timani is there as a replacement for the now retired Cliff Palu. Hopefully he trains and is played as a backrower. I don't think we are looking too bad in the second row with Douglas, Simmons, Coleman and Mumm. There is Arnold to return and the up and coming Enever and others. By...

Yes, we went into the England series missing a few key players and then lost Pocock early in the series to compound the problem. Being able to bring back in Giteau, Genia, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) and Mitchell is huge, as is having Pocock fit, and will surely pick up our level a notch or two. All of a sudden we have...

He is probably going to take a look at Cooper and see how he is traveling. I'd guess the order is Foley, To'omua, Cooper, Gits We seem to have less trouble scrummaging against the RC sides so it's a good time to look at some new options at TH. We are one injury away from trouble here though so...

Brumbies are losing a lot of players for 2017. The Wallabies too.

Could it be true? Tomane is leaving next year as well. http://www.news.com.au/sport/rugby/super-rugby/brumbies/brumbies-winger-joe-tomane-to-join-fijian-nemani-nadolo-at-french-club-montpellier-next-year/news-story/679d23d1f58402737b9dce390be72fe9

They really need to be chasing Link. Is there any chance? Such a big loss to Australian rugby.

    Wallaby Coaching Staff

Kafe seems to think that having a couple of part time coaches is hurting the Wallabies prep. I agree. If we are shipping 44 points to England in one test then our defense is obviously not up to scratch. Time for a full time defense coach. If we have 75% possession and an almost equal amount of...

I bet he would really suit the game there too with his speed and attacking ability.
