All Blacks v Wallabies, Dunedin, 19th October 2013

Two days later ;) Link names the squad on the 26th - http://www.theaustralian.com.au/sport/rugby-union/ewen-mckenzie-returns-quade-cooper-to-wallabies-squad/story-e6frg7o6-1226686143226 Horne Signs on 28th -...

All Blacks v Wallabies, Dunedin, 19th October 2013

Harris is a test player again because all other options are injured (bar Taps and Horne). So I don't know why anyone is really shocked at his inclusion, what is shocking is why Horne is on the outer. The only possible answer I've come up with is, Horne hadn't committed to Australian rugby at...

All Blacks v Wallabies, Dunedin, 19th October 2013

At this rate we're not going to have any Super players left in the country when we go on the EOYT.

How has To'omua been kicking this year? Losing Lilo will really have an affect on our kicking percentage. I think Quade was at 70something% during the Super campaign?

    Pumas v Wallabies, Rosario, 5th October 2013

Me either. Their talking about their own players and for those subscribed to their respective club feeds, they'd be interested in hearing how those players are travelling. For those throwing their hands up in disgust, perhaps widen you're readings for the next couple of weeks. It's standard...

    2013 EOYT

With Paddy Ryan being picked, I can only see Alexander and Kepu as the next two likely to be dropped, both are TH's. So, who would you drop for Sio? Robinson is probably the go to LH now with hopefully Slipper at TH.

    Reds 2014

Even with Tuney's bionic knees I don't think he'd be up to Super rugby :(

    Reds 2014

Or sending an SOS to Wallaby greats carving it up in minnow leagues ;)

    Reds 2014

Don't get me wrong, definitely a strong team, just not a team to fear just yet! The long season will test their depth.

    Reds 2014

Chiefs yeah definitely, the bulls I wouldn't count it as a blessing. They've lost a lot of players for the upcoming season, so I don't think they'll be as tough as they normally are this year.

I wonder the impact all those scrums had on his workrate around the park? I can't remember if it was Sharpie or Palmer who said on the podcast the draining effect playing on the TH has.

Australian Rugby Union (ARU) - Positivity Thread

Have to admit, I am now quite partial to some bacon and eggs on a Sunday morning whilst watching a game of rugby! Winning the game was just the desert that won't bust the waistline!

    JOC (James O'Connor) Gooonne

I wonder if he's lost any vitamin peanuts because of this? If he leaves Australian shores, I'd imagine his marketability will be gone as he'll be a small fish in a big pond!

    JOC (James O'Connor) Gooonne

So looking at G&GR's news this morning about Halfpenny, what's the money about O'Connor going to Toulon for a season and coming back?

Mowen Considering Move To France Over Pay Dispute

But what happens to those guys injured whilst playing for the Wallabies or injured whilst playing Super Rugby as an employee of the ARU? Guys like Pocock, Higgers (and Genia last year) didn't/haven't played for the Wallabies so how is it fair that arguably our best players are unable to recoup...

Mowen Considering Move To France Over Pay Dispute

Look at it in another way, Mowen has only just cracked it into the Wallabies team. He's played a handful of test matches and now is "demanding" a top up? Whereas the likes of Palu, Higgers and others who have a top up have been playing for the Wallabies for a number of years. Perhaps Mowen...

    Springboks v Wallabies, Newlands, September 28 2013

I thought exactly the same thing until Scott posted these stills on twitter today; Looks like he committed himself to a tackle who offloaded it to Strauss. Poor form by Alexander and Horwill to re-align themselves by the looks of it.

    Ewen McKenzie: Wallaby Coach

I like to watch - Have you listened to Gagger and Timmsy interview Link? He specifically covers all of those points, why things aren't working and what they're trying to do.

    Wendell Sailor and the ARU

It's kind of hard to keep track on what has or hasn't happened. From memory, that particular incident had some further racial issues that started it. Without knowing the full story it's hard to say whether Kurtley was pissed and was rightfully chucked out without being called something racially...

    Wendell Sailor and the ARU

You could distinguish the ARU's stance with Homebrand, Beale and Cooper to Sailor by two factors: 1) The difference in age between the three amigo's and Dell - The Amigos were/are in their early twenties and society as a whole has more leniency towards "boys being boys" (note I'm not in...
