    Rebels 2015

This is a good option for a few reasons: 1. Succession planning early in the piece. It would see obvious that Fugs will captain next year 2. Don't see Fugs moving back to NZ in a hurry and by the end of season he will be wallaby qualified. 3. Fugs is a classic honest toiler who leads by...

    REBELS v HIGHLANDERS - Harlequins RC 5th Feb @6:30pm

I was down under the sticks at the carpark end. From what I saw: Overall I thought game play was better in first half. Scrums were marginally better (they had a decent pack) and I thought we were better in broken play. Some nice movements form Mike, Mitch and Dom to move the ball down the...

Rebels win with a try on the siren to Dom Dom. PAE is currently on crutches, not a good sign. Highlanders defence was immense in the second half, somehow we made it work. Well done lads.

Lineout work looking good Pity we fucked up the move - obstruction I think.

10 - 8 to the rebs at quarter time. Lopeti at 5, crumbs at 15, Mikey at 10. Some good breaks but fairly loose match.

Don't you mean 2013? We played them in Round 3 at home last year.

I can't understand why we have recruited another Prop - that makes seven (not including Ferti Sa'aga). I could think of other position priorities like Lock. Note in the articles he is one of the concessional signings the Rebels are entitled to. He appears to be a LHP so he may be a direct...

You need to work up Tilly before you hit the pitch. She was always happy to leave a few spare aside for players. I'm surprised the didn't leave stash aside for the refs anyway...

    Waratahs 2015

Wow, can't imagine Cheika being happy about this. Is he going to stare him down like he did with Bernard Foley? Might need a stepladder. http://www.news.com.au/sport/rugby/blockbusting-waratahs-winger-taqele-naiyaravaro-chased-by-edinburgh/story-fndpt9s1-1227208357333

If the Rebels learnt anything from last year it was not to overdo the pre-season. We learnt the hard way. Only two trials this year, but we start away to the 'saders. Not an easy Roadtrip to start with.

Fairly safe starting lineup, what you might expect for a starting Rebels match. Like I said before I'd like them to mix it up a little more. Don't think I've known Dom to be a OC, would look to start super Sefa there. Surprised about Tom Sexton not playing, guess you gotta give the new go a run.

Yep they are good too. Was a while ago since I had one, but I don't remember ever hating the food I ate there. But, if you're ever eastside after a few Beers I'd recommend a feed at Box Hill Burgers. Usual assortment of Burgers, Lamb Sandwiches and anything else they can throw into the...

    REBELS v HIGHLANDERS - Harlequins RC 5th Feb @6:30pm

Squad for the match tomorrow night. Notable absentees are Jack D (apparently was concussed). Forwards: Cruze Ah-Nau, Paul Alo-Emile, Colby Fainga’a, Scott Fuglistaller, Scott Higginbotham, Sam Jeffries, Luke Jones, Pat Leafa, Sean McMahon, Cadeyrn Neville, Jordy Reid, Toby Smith, Lopeti...

Are you talking about the one thy serve up at the club, or that wonderful creation serve at 'box hill burgers' up on Whitehorse road. I have ended many a big night in that shop devouring one of those godly creations.

At least they are civil enough to serve full-strength beer down there.

But we can potentially distract him by putting a 3-Tonne Excavator on the sideline. He might get distracted and chain himself to it. I'll see if Massey Ferguson have any spare for when you pony fellas head down to Mexico. In all seriousness, I do admire the guy for having the courage of his...

    REBELS v HIGHLANDERS - Harlequins RC 5th Feb @6:30pm

Since I live 5min walk from 'Quins (adjacent to the bike track Tex mentioned) I think it would be poor form if I didn't attend. Might even have rug rats future rebels attached to me... Word from the Wise: The Glen Waverley line (attached to Homesglen Station) can be terrible at times so you...

Apparently we've already got Jones and English (see my post on page 64) and I agree we need to get Smith and Neville signed up. Think Caydern is only signed until the end of 2015, Toby is signed until the end of 2016.

The last paragraph is a nice little summary of recent re-signings. Quite the impressive list. I'd actually forgotten about Silvia Silvia; will be a very handy replacement for Shota.
