    The Israel Folau saga

This ain't a democracy. It doesn't even have anything to do with government or the state. If nothing else, hopefully this helps a few people in society realise what their obligations to the employer actually are, and maybe a few will even read their own terms of employment.

    The Israel Folau saga

AJ has a fairly big personal stake in protecting individuals from the consequences of speaking out of line with their organisation

    The Israel Folau saga

These are the mitigating/aggravating factors the committee will use - they're directly from the Code of Conduct

    The Israel Folau saga

Haven't they already stated what they intend to do? They could have gone down that path if Izzy showed any remorse, or even accepted it was a mistake. The post is still up on his Instagram! If Izzy did stay, how long until post #3?

    The Israel Folau saga

"After we'd all talked, I told Raelene if she felt the situation had become untenable — that I was hurting Rugby Australia, its sponsors and the Australian rugby community to such a degree that things couldn't be worked through — I would walk away from my contract, immediately." - Israel Folau...

    Reds 2019

Tough! But that seems to be what the process directs

Super Rugby 2019 Predictions - Aussie Conference

Bookies now have Bulls have replaced Stormers in the top group, and Brumbies have firmed. Lions and Stormers just missing out, then Reds and the rest

    Refereeing decisions

Had to check, but at the moment the ref may only stop the clock for injuries and/or to consult with another official
  10. Strewthcobber

    Refereeing decisions

Not really a ref issue, but the biggest problem (among many) with the game at the moment, is how you can kill a game off being 1 point ahead, with 4 mins to go by collapsing and resetting three scrums. This robs the few remaining supporters we still have of so much

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Maybe, but these things tend to follow the power law/Pareto principle. Big players get more, and smaller gets less very quickly.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Who knows, but I reckon they would want to have a digital/streaming exclusive for their content. They might be alright with Foxtel, but not Go or Kayo

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Yeah - NFL, basketball, UFC and to a lesser extent NHL and baseball are pretty major draws for payTV. To complicate things, they'd all be looking at their own offerings independent of a broadcaster as well

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

If you want prem league and a-league you're already up to two with Optus sports - I reckon the fragmentation is only going to get larger. F1 and beIn content especially won't be far off splitting form Kayo

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Think we might be in for a very short but glorious period where one provider has most of the rights to most of the sport in Australia and we'll soon be dealing with a bizarre array of apps and $$$ to watch what you want

    Global Rapid Rugby

Stuff that. A trip to Reunion Islands for a match sounds awesome!

    Rd 13: Rebels v Reds @ Melbourne 10/5/19 7.45 pm

Winner of this one probably qualifies - so plenty to play for. (Loser might too!) To beat the Reds - don't give away penalties and tackle Kerevi. He'll be running at Cooper all night.

    Reds 2019

Yeah, how far away from the eye was it? Got to take more care of your opposition than that. He'll get 2 weeks / 2 for first offense = 1 week
