2012 Australia vs New Zealand - 20 Oct

This morning it was reported that he was cleared to play.

2012 Australia vs New Zealand - 20 Oct

Deans never ceases to amaze. - I find it hard to fathom that Cummins is now perferred to Shipperley. Shipperley has looked the goods during the RC. The highest praise anyone will ever give Cummins is that he's "solid" (IMO). That just ain't gonna cut it against the All Blacks. Shipperley's form...

    End of Year Tour 2012

I saw that Palu, Kepu and Mitchell are all in the training squad for this weekend's game. I'm hoping they dont play. I'd like to see us change our approach to players returning from injury. But good to know they'll be back in the squad for the end of year tour.

Brad Thorn.....may not done just yet...

I'm a big believer of the theory of Occam's Razor. I think if we're honest with ourselves, we'll come to the conclusion that Brad Thorn is a Robot sent back in time to reak havoc on World Rugby. That much is clear, although the finer details of who, what, when and why are a bit more...

2012 Australia vs New Zealand - 20 Oct

I think the Wallabies could benefit from a new coach but to be fair to Deans our poor performances are not all his fault. We've lambasted Deans for his tactical and personal blunders at the WC and in NZ earlier this year, and rightfully so. I think most people would agree he's lucky to still...

2012 Australia vs New Zealand - 20 Oct

There is no such thing as a dead rubber when you're the All Blacks. New Zealand fans will accept nothing less than a win.

    End of Year Tour 2012

World Cup draw aside I think its important that we finish strongly this year. It has been an odd test season for the Wallabies. We've looked like a shambles but we've still managed a series win over the Grand Slam champs and took more wins in the RC than the Boks. It's only really our...

    End of Year Tour 2012

I'd like to see sharpe tour. As others have pointed out, it is important that we maintain good results over the next 2 months (with the world cup draw in December) and we are in a very unfortunate position in terms of a lack of leadership due to injuries. In the circumstances it would be good...

Here is an opinion on Aussie rugby

Not sure i agree with that. There are plenty of players out there that would kill to live and play in Aus. I moved back from London for the same reason. Sure i get paid less in Aus, but the lifestyle is better and I still earn decent money.

Here is an opinion on Aussie rugby

haha Randell give yourself an uppercut. This is Hyperbole rubbish Since the addition of the 5th aussie team we've had an aus team win the Super title, we've won the Tri-nations, we've consistently been ranked number 2 in the world. Finished a respectable 3rd in the world cup, we finished 2nd...

2012 Australia vs New Zealand - 20 Oct

Hopefully we see some injured players return. If we want to get even close to the All Blacks we'll need guys like Moore and O'Connor in the 22. This is a great opportunity for us to show our worth heading into the NH tour. The All Blacks are 10 steps ahead of the rest at the moment so we can...

2012 Rugby Championship Round 6 Game 2 Argentina vs Australia - 6 Oct

This was your typical Aussie performance under Deans. Stuttering in attack but resolute none the less. There were a few bright sparks in this game for me. - Robinson looks like he may have (fingers crossed) finally turned the corner regarding his match fitness / recovery from injury. He...

    Hooper stats looking good

Our best backrow might actually be 6.Hooper, 7.Pocock, 8.Palu (Higgers on the bench) but wil our lineout suffer too much? In terms of defence, Pocock is hands down the most valuable player in world rugby. Hooper's running game is much better than Pocock, but I'd start Pocock. At the same time...

2012 Rugby Championship R5G1 Springbokke vs Wallabies @ the Bull Ring

I remember reading an article back in late 2010 where Kurtley was asked why his form had improved from previous years. I recall that he basically put it down to body shape / fitness. He said he slimmed down dramatically which made him a lot more lethal with ball in hand. This worries me a bit...

2012 Rugby Championship R5G1 Springbokke vs Wallabies @ the Bull Ring

No shit ...i think you'll find scotty was alluding to that ..btw I concede i dont come to this argument with clean hands I have been critical of Deans as of late

2012 Rugby Championship R5G1 Springbokke vs Wallabies @ the Bull Ring

Mate I think you miss interpreted my comment. Im suggesting the Wallabies side this weekend has a similar look to the Bok side that toured last year, in that it is grossly understrength. I have neither amnesia, nor a lack of interest in SA Rugby..SA rugby interests me greatly.

2012 Rugby Championship R5G1 Springbokke vs Wallabies @ the Bull Ring

I'm quite the opposite. If the Wallabies win this game, I'm back on the Deans bandwagon. As long as they're competitive ill be happy
