Just quickly - the Waratahs are on a public school tour by the looks of it. Great to see, but gee I'd love to see a media manager banging on about it and leveraging off what they are doing, getting some of the kids in news papers raises the profile of rugby / interest in junior rugby.

I believe it is, I also heard that Manly v Randwick will be grade and colts at the same destination, so it will be a great "club day" for the respective clubs both days. Great way to pull a crowd and get good gate - hope that it all comes together weather wise and all.

Yes but clubs in general are interesting - is their job to run a huge profit to pay dividends and to who? Or is there job to run run a tight sensible business and win Premierships and attract fans and sponsors? Allot of clubs are improving at the later.

Running on empty on financial terms - a number of clubs now have posted at 2 year or more of profitable trading, so the balance sheets are improving. There is nothing stopping premier rugby being on shown to FTA in NSW / QLD - i'm sure when i fish in Northern NSW I'm watching different shows...
