Aussie super 14 team of the week Round 9 2009

Well they did smash the opposition scrum as well except that wasn't good enough for NTA as he doesn't rate the Stormers scrum so I had to remind him that they were also brilliant around the park & thats why I went with an all Brumbies front row.

Aussie super 14 team of the week Round 9 2009

Regardless of the scrum Moore & Alexander were the best ball carriers all night, it was great to watch Alexander crash it up followed up by Moore it seem to happen in that order all night & both players kept getting over the advantage line. Brumbies fans who didn't watch a lot of the Reds will...

    Elsom set for Wallabies comeback

That's what I love, the ARU should have told him to take it up with his manager. Conversation should have been. Rocky: G'day John I'm in a bit cash strapped can I take a one year sabbatical to get my money back. JON: Fuck off cockhead. Rocky: Huh JON: You heard me, Fuck off take it up...

    Tom Carter

I think I saw Barnes shoulder charge the opposition after the whitsle though, oh hang on that might have been Carter.

Not even 30 seconds into the Highlanders match & Barnes has just shot Naz down with a line break & offload.

    Cheetahs waiste Sharks

The saders would probably have prefered the Sharks to win as I'm sure there will be a backlash at the Shark Tank next week.

    Reds v Clan

Yeah he should have bombed away rather than chipping but he was probably shattered after a 3 week lay off.

Force v Dodgy Facial Hair Canes

No Richard Brown for the last 10 minutes & the wheels come off the blokes a freak. The Force are so frustrating at times they should have but that game to bed before the 50th minute. How on earth did Ryan Cross fuck up a 3 on 1 situation against a prop? The force score there under the black...

    Brumbies vs Stormers

Well done Brumbies saved aussie rugby from a whitewash weekend.

    Tahs Vs Bulls

Tahs have a must win next week against the Force, I'm still confident that they'll make the final 4.

    Reds v Clan

Very good game to watch even though we lost, we definitely need Morahan to step up as Hynes can't do it all on his own. McLinden has gone off the boil a bit but he is still dangerous although he did have a mungo brain snap in the last play of the game. The game was ours for the taking just a...

Best All Black team and opposition named 1984-2008

I'm a fan of Herbert, bench spot maybe but I couldn't split my dream centre pairing of Horan & Mortlock.

    Tom Carter

Barnes is the best playmaker in OZ, he creates gaps for others although I do agree he needs to cut back on the kicking especially on attack when his league mentality can take over & he grubbers or chips into the in-goal.

    Tom Carter

Considering he was a great defender in league Tahu sure falls off a lot of tackles. He also turns over a lot of ball in attack.

Best All Black team and opposition named 1984-2008

I bet the most dominate player at two world cups, more so 95 than 99 but still easily the most devastating ball runner in the history of rugby. 11 Aussies in the world team, although when picked by kiwis it would be expected as we to tend to lift for the All Blacks unlike most NH sides.

Which Aussie teams will win against other countries this weekend?

Geez the aussie teams are hard to pick, they are so inconsistent. Tahs are the only team I'd put money on but I am expecting the Brumbies & Force to win but even both opposing sides are unpredictable in the Canes & Stormers. The Brumbies are a real tough one this week under the circumstances.

    Reds v Clan

This is must win for so many reasons & making the finals isn't one, 19 game losing streak on the road, the 2 embarrasing thrashings in a row & a lot of blokes owe Phil Mooney big time.
