    Ideas for NRC

Harlequins in Melbourne where they've played a number of the Rising games over the competition has been the ground with the best turnouts and atmosphere. Should look to return sooner than later in my opinion.

    Ideas for NRC

I've now watched 3 of the 4 games yesterday. All of which were very entertaining. Really good start for the NRC. I really hope they keep this structure intact. If they do, which they should, they really need to look to really begin to develop the overall package surrounding the competition. I...

NRC Rnd 1: Brisbane City v Fiji Drua

The Syd/NSWC and the Bris/Fiji games were both great games of footy. Didn't see much of the Melb/Can game. But so far a pretty good start to NRC 2019.

NRC Rnd 1: Brisbane City v Fiji Drua

He's been consistently one of the Drua standouts since inception. Which makes you wonder why he hasn't been snapped up? Likes his life in Fiji perhaps.

NRC round 1: NSW Country Eagles vs Sydney @ Dubbo - Saturday 31 August 2019

Well, with absolutely zero promotion and/or marketing you can hardly expect much more. Seriously. What do the RA and NSWRU marketing dept. do all day?

    Ideas for NRC

That's not ideal. But on the plus side. Saw an example of the 50/22 in the Syd/NSWC game. Worked out well imo.

NRC round 1: NSW Country Eagles vs Sydney @ Dubbo - Saturday 31 August 2019

Grant has been the catalyst for Country. Controls the pace nicely and distributes beautifully.

NRC round 1: NSW Country Eagles vs Sydney @ Dubbo - Saturday 31 August 2019

Okay. So not a great half but not a bad one either. Which is better than I expected. Game being played at a good pace. Am a little worried for the competitiveness of both of these teams as they progress. Will have to wait and see.

NRC round 1: NSW Country Eagles vs Sydney @ Dubbo - Saturday 31 August 2019

Okay. So already Will Harrison has surpassed his best from last season. Which to be fair was a year too early to be thrown the the wolves at the NRC level. Started at little slow but has begun to take control of his back line. Hopefully he can grow as the game continues.

Yep. Sydney coping an absolute pasting.

    Shute Shield 2019

Thought this might be of interest to the Club Rugby crew. Taylor Adams has signed a professional contract with the Toronto Arrows for the 2020 Major League Rugby season. Won't be turning out for Eastwood until June (when the MLR season ends) if at all next year.

    Australian Rugby / RA

Giving this some thought. Looking to move to selecting players based overseas may be the hard reset we need. I know we run the risk of losing a lot of our elite talent but arguably that wouldn't necessarily be the worst thing in the world. Historically the value in the likes of Super Rugby has been...

    Shute Shield 2019

Short term fix. More resources would go a long way in terms of talent acquisition/retention. But ultimately long term they need more investment in building the Rugby playing and supporting community in Western Sydney.

    Shute Shield 2019

On a Saturday. According to both the average is 10 minute longer at 1 hour and 6 mins. Depending on the of which bus you catch. Remember, you also don't have to get out and walk.

    Shute Shield 2019

Good luck with that. Even though I agree.

    Shute Shield 2019

A quick look on both trip planner and google maps says that trip takes 56 mins.

    Shute Shield 2019

A quick look on Google Maps shows that it's only an extra 9 mins travel from Warringah to Bankwest (using the M2) than it is to North Sydney Oval. With Warringah to BankWest being 47 minutes compared to the same to North Sydney being 38 mins. Are you seriously telling me the extra 9 minutes is...
