Mr Timms, the part about ''Peter Hynes (knee, We know about him)'' - what do we know about his come back?

    Australian Conference Pre-Season Trials

With the Australian population getting older, it won't be long before the ABC will be able to put on a weekly repeat of the same show.

    Australian Conference Pre-Season Trials

I think the ARU or state squads probably don't want full broadcasts. After all, the games are 'trials' and players are continually changing over. Not only that, but play is very scrappy and i notice in the Brumbies v Force trial that the Force omitted 7 of their front line players from the game...

Reds vs Waratahs - the war before the war

I suspect the Tahs year is probably going to revolve around Rocky's year. If he comes out fresh and regaining some of his old (was it Munster) form, then he will lead the side from the front and they could be a real force; but his early season on the injury listr doesn't really augre well. Big...

Reds vs Waratahs - the war before the war

The fact that the reds had so many rookies in their team last year & still won the title must count very strongly towards against a team carrying quite a few crocs. The Reds will definitely be 'more in your face' and the Waratahs will revert to the öle'aimless kicking game.

Very impressed. Any chance of getting the Six Nations Schedule up there as well?

Reds vs Waratahs - the war before the war

The battle of words is warming up! To quote in other G & G posts @ Jimmy Crouch "P Tah I totally agree that the Reds will struggle. Can people also cut the Link is a hero crap. Look he has done very well with the Reds. Two years, one finals appearance one championship. Surely Mooney gets some...

    Men behaving badly

The worry with QC (Quade Cooper) is that he swore himself off grog after his previous 'incident', and thereafter played very well. So what's to happen now when he retrns to the playing field?

    Link re-signs

I think in this regard criticism of the ARU is somewhat unwarrented. Don't forget thay are currently a stakeholder in the QRU & share board decisions until the QRU gets back into the black, so what is good for Reds rugby is good for ARU. All parties would like to see McKenzie stay in this...

    Rugby Predictions for 2012

That after a disastrous 2012 season where the Wallabies lose 70% of their games and only beat Argentina at home in the Rugby Championship (awful name), O'Neil resigns as CEO and the new CEO's first action is to sack Robbie Deans, who takes up an offer to coach Kenya in the 7's competition...

    Jim Williams BONED

@ Swat. Phipps' choice was political - placating the Rebels. But certainly there could have been better choices in the squad. I don't think he was necessarily Deans' choice. But the forwards did let the backs down in a number of games in the lead up to the WC, and indeed in some of the WC...

Kiwi hate vibe is marring World Cup

I notice France has now got the hot seat for NZ taunts for putting up an inferior side to play the AB's as theywant to lose & stay in the Northern European half for the finals. We Aussies can all have a break

    Rocky road ahead for Rocky...........

The first and most important consideration of the selected captain is to have the respect from his team, as individuals, who see the captain as the man they aspire to, to lead them into conflict with the enemy. In itself it might not win a game but it certainly helps minimize a loss. I suspect...

    Lack of Crowds in NZ

I suspect that the RWC coming to the Shaky Isles being only months away is causing frugal Kiwis to reserve their funding for that time. They would have bought tickets recently and said 'that's it bro, no more change'.

    Semifinal 1: Reds V Blues

Spik, I don't think 'Problem is that they could get complacent' complacency will be a factor for the Reds. They know this is a big game, and I'd say the Reds coaching staff will be advising them that they have to step up a gear for a semi-final. They might fumble a bit through nerves, but not...
