Western Force V Reds 5th July

Wykes earns a penalty for the Reds with a poor cleanout. Should be Force back in front.

Western Force V Reds 5th July

Gotta say, only 2 Australia teams or 2 SA teams could produce this game, never seen a NZ derby this shocking. 20 all. What the fuck. The Reds have been horrible, so the Force decided to lower themselves to the Reds level.

Western Force V Reds 5th July

Force fluff another lineout. Driven back into their 22. Reds get a penalty in front. This game is just something else.

Shocking throw from Charles, over everyone. Taps breaks through the middle. Gives it to Harris. Who throws it over the touch line. Rebels, bet you're drooling at this performance.

Reds scrum suddenly looking way better. Daley is off. Hmmm. Shocking pass from Harris. Shocking kick from Turner. Harris and Turner have both been completely shit tonight.

Prior kicks out from the ensuing scrum. Mistake-a-thon here. How the hell the Reds are only 3 points behind I will never know. Just get the ball to Kerevi, after the maul, of course. Instead, Taps drops it cold from a terrible Frisby pass. Can someone please teach Frisby to pass?

Western Force V Reds 5th July

Reds take the lineout from the kick off on the full, and Kerevi goes straight through. Then throws it away. Kerevi is cramping, the Reds can't afford to lose him.

Kerevi and Reds maul is all that has worked for them. New plan: mauls and balls to Kerevi. Don't bother with much else.

Anae goes over from a maul thanks to the rubbish penalty from Gardner. Anae looks to have really porked up. What is going on with the Reds conditioning?

Brache looks to be in wonderland. Obsctruction? Didn't see that. Gardner is seeing things.

Cheap from Charles, lucky to get away with that. Reds scrum has been crap tonight.

Side to side, side to side. Get the ball to Kerevi is all the Reds have this game.

Interesting ruling on no penalty from Holmes?

Finally, Hayward gets it. 20 - 10. No freaking idea how the Reds aren't losing by 30, they are shocking.

Western Force V Reds 5th July

Yeah, Reds are shocking. Just look disinterested in their own breakdowns at times. Defensive structure is also a mess, as it has been a lot of the year. Can anyone reminds me who's responsible for the Reds defence again?

Gardner needs to learn to look for the guy rolling away first. He misses it nearly every time - allows a guy to lie on the ground to block the clean out while a second player on his feet goes at the ball.

    Reds 2015

    Isn't Ardie Savea more of a 7?

    Reds 2015

I'm skepitcal about listed weights and heights. CFS is definitely shorter than Harris. But CFS, he has a lower centre of gravity and "plays heavier" anyway, even if he's not heavier than Harris. If CFS remains fit, he could fill the role of strong runner at 13 for the Reds. If. Kerevi...

Rebels v Reds, 27 June @ AAMI Park

I'd say our bench forwards will still have it over their Rebels counterparts. Somehow, 3 out of 5 of the bench Reds forwards have earnt Wallaby caps, with the last one included in the Wallaby squad last year.

Reserve front row was Daley, Saia and was that Anae or Paraka? Schatz has been a bit better in the more recent weeks. Agree the Reds pack should be better than the Rebel's, but I worry about our outside backs and halves.
