One thing i was pleased to see was the absence of Sefanaia Naivalu's name from the Fiji RWC team. Much as I'd like to see the guy earn higher honours, I'd like to see him do that in gold. Injury might have hampered any call-up.

So Rabodirect have cease their partnership with the Melbourne Rebels. Explains why Direct Connect are sponsoring the Rising. So, we're looking for a major sponsor. Suggestions? Kudos to Rabodiect for letting the fans know early.

Same for the Rebels. Seems to be a standard feature across the board for the franchises that now use the Salesforce platform (ARU managed) for membership management. Unlike a lot of Reds fans, I contacted the Rebels to make sure I was registered for auto renewal. I really feel for you blokes...

I'd assume the same thing Tex, but I dropped them an e-mail to check. They confirmed that I was already set up for auto-renewal. For piece of mind you might as well e-mail them - only took a day to reply (not bad). Also found a bug in their user profile page (cannot add twitter handle)...

Actually, now I think about it - back then I was only a Blue member, so I did not have an allocated seat. Only upgraded to Gold this year. For the Lions match they stuck me down the south end next to the Rebel Army.

Sounds like some good planning for the future if either Tamati, Mitch or (god forbid both) move on at the end of the season. We do have some depth in the midfield stock (Dom, Tom & Sefa), but that may leave the OB's a little thin in depth. So, what can you Manly types tell us about this...

He was Sydney Stars last NRC, so I'm guessing he'd play for them (if he played). Odd to see little Red go from el Capitano to off the team. I'm guessing he will be allocated to another team. Mikey Mike will probably play for a Queensland team. Crawf - who knows.
